I use imatation crab meat in macaroni salad I need to know how many days in advance it can be made and refrig.

I think it's best to be made 24 hours in advance or as close to it as possible. It lets the flavors meld together and then you will know if you need to add anything before serving to guests

No more than 24 hours in avance. It's not the imitation crab meat to worry about but the salad itself. Make sure you wrap or seal it well while it's in the fridge. Right before you serve it you may want to check the consistency. you can add more mayonaise to "freshen "it up.

Personally, I wouldn't make it more than a day ahead of time because of potential spoilage and the fact that it may dry out.

Probably no more than 2 days. If you need it Sat. lunch, maybe make it Thurs. night.
