I have a "pie maker". You put a slice of bread down, fill it with something, another slice on top, close the unit and switch it on. It toasts the bread and heats the filling and cuts the bread into triangle shaped "pies". I've often used bologna or jam or stew inside. Bologna makes a very tasty pie :) Its also called a sandwich maker.

I've heard that the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" mentions bologna pie. Here's a recipe for one:

Bologna Pie with Chives
INGREDIENTS

2 packages cream cheese
Cream, to moisten
1/4 cup chopped chives
1 pound bologna, not too thinly sliced

Crush 2 packages cream cheese with fork. Moisten with sufficient cream to make a smooth paste. Fold in 1/4 cup chives and mix until well distributed.

Remove all casings from bologna, being careful not to tear the meat. Place the first slice on a plate or board. Spread this thickly with the cream cheese mixture. Place another slice on top. Spread with cream cheese mixture. Repeat this process until 6 slices are used, leaving the top slice unspread.

Wrap "pie" in wax paper. Set in refrigerator on a plate until thoroughly cold.

Slice into pie-shaped wedges with a sharp knife. Serve in its original shape in center of an hors d'oeuvres platter, surrounded by other hors d'oeuvres.

NOTE: When I made these, I used thickly sliced hard salami in place of the bologna, and added a little creamed horseradish to the cream cheese mixture. And, depending on the size of the hard salami, I cut them into halves instead of wedges and placed long plastic toothpicks in the center of each half with alternating pitted black and green olives.

I don't know, but it sounds gross. Plus, he will probably use mass amounts of bologna and end up wasting a bunch of food.

Make sure to get the other ingredients before eating it.
I don't like bologna, so it sounds gross to me.

Ask for the recipe. Make sure it makes sense. If sugar is an ingredient, hit the brakes.
