I am cooking lobster thermidor next week and have to kill 2 lobsters. Is the boiling method the best way or knife down the head?

I ask because i have worked in catering for many years. Plus raising fussy eaters etc.
My partner loves to cook and is far more adventurous with herbs, spices: but it works.
He says he enjoys cooking. After all these years i find it a chore.
Am i lucky or are there more men who enjoy cooking?

if you ate one food, every day, and never get tired of ot... what would it be?

My first choice would be... sour dough toast & with butter.

Im making a heart shaped cake and i have store bought frosting its cream cheese and i want to make it red. I am not sure how to do it. I think i just warm it up a little and then add food coloring and let it sit to get thicker but im not sure. Please help!

I bought some amaretto thats only 21% alcohol (42 proof), is that high enough to put in my freezer or will it blow up? And does anyone know what the lowest proof is that you can safely put in the freezer without it exploding? thanks
