I want to cook something tonight for dinner, but I have NO idea what to make. I know this sounds pathetic, but I just need some new ideas! I have minced meat and catfish. I want to make curry, but I'd like to spice it up a little, something new, ya know? So please help me by maybe providing a recipe? lol I'm sorry this is silly. I used real whipped cream to frost an angel food cake, and froze it in advance of a dinner party. I then defrosted it and we ate about half, and now I'm wondering if I can refreeze the remainder of the cake to use for refreshments for a meeting a few days from now?
(I know it's taboo to re-freeze raw meat.)

Hi, I made a pot de creme for the first time today, and I thought that the texture of it was pretty gross. It's kind of like jello (the way that it separates when you put a spoon into it), but it's very "delicate" and it dissolves once I bit into it too. Then again, that was when it was still warm and not chilled yet. Is that how it should be or did I do something wrong? Will it firm up now that it's in the refrigerator? Thank you so much!

i made chili and something that i put in..i suspect it's the different type of canned tomato that i used..is too sweet. i know you can add a potato to remove too much salt, but is there a way to cut the sweetness.

Hi, I'm trying a pancake recipe for the first time. Every recipe I find mentions to combine dry ingredients before adding wet ingredients, after which I'm supposed to "stir until just moistened" or "stir until just blended", etc. What does this mean? Won't my batter still have lumps? Or does it mean stir until just smooth, and then I should stop? (Also, can I keep the batter in the fridge overnight for future use?)

I am looking forward to spring and summer I love using sun tea jars and the taste of sun tea .
