I've never come across anything to actually remove the sweet, like a potato will do with too much salt.
Other spices, such as cumin and oregano, or the adding some lemon or lime juice, will help mask the sweetness, while not adding to the heat. Some chili recipes actually call for adding chocolate. Maybe adding a little cocoa powder or shaved bakers chocolate, which have a natural bitterness, will balance out the extra sweetness. Try just a small amount at a time. You may have to adjust your other spices as well.
Celery has a slight bitterness to it that may counteract the sweetness. Dice a stalk or two, including the leaves. I always add some to my homemade chili.
You know, you could always add a little bit from each of these suggestions, and declare it your new secret recipe. Around here we sometimes do "Chili Dumps" for a get-together meal. Each guest brings a small pot of their homemade chili, and everything gets dumped and blended into one big pot. The results are always tasty.

I wonder if you mean that it's "tart or acidic" rather than "sweet". If it is truly too sweet, you can add some salt to counter the sweetness. Otherwise, I actually add a little sugar to my chili to counter the tartness or acidity of the tomatoes. Good luck.

i know this will sound silly but have you tried to add a little bit of lemon to your chili to cut the sweetness if you do not have any lemon then you can always use chili powder if you use the lemon be care full take some out of the pot and add little by little the n tase little by little remember which ever you use you can always add more but it is hard to remove what you have added
