I'm baking a cake and it requires 3/8 tsp. but I don't have a 1/8 measure.

If you have a half teaspoon measure, then just use a little less than that. Or if you have a teaspoon measure, then use a little less than half of that.

A fourth of a teaspoon is 1/8 less than 3/8 so don't fill the spoon all the way up.
