Does a can of Lager unopened really go off if not used by its sell by date

Yes, it goes stale and tastes pretty foul. But then tinned lager tastes like urine to start with, so it can be difficult to tell....

Not usually by the sell by date although it will eventually so depends how far out of date, Budweiser will go off quicker though as this is meant to be as fresher lager therefore the taste will alter quicker the older it gets

If it's a lager and it is in a can then it was off the minute it was made.

Yes it does but only if its way past its sell by date.
It really is disgusting I don't advise you to do it.
