How do I tell my friend that I am not going to have her as a bridesmaid in my wedding. Yes I've known her a long time and she just had me in hers and I do care about her but I've picked 4 girls that are close to me that I see on a daily basis that I want in my wedding. She is very outspoken and she WILL be furious when I tell her. So how should I tell her? Arg..I'm torn on what to do...???

Our wedding is in January and it's in the evening. I wanted to get the birdseed stuff so it could be thrown on us when we leave the church. But it'll be dark and it'll just be the outside church lights to illuminate it. Will it still work and look nice? I've only seen it done in the sunshine. Are there any other suggestions we could do?

My boyfriend and I are discussing the possibility of getting married next Dec. 2007 - and I was wondering what are some good destinations for a honeymoon during December? We don't want to do like Caribbean but something more exciting either in Europe (Mediterranean) or possibly Austrailia/New Zeland.

my bf often tells me he wants to marry me soon!! which makes me ver yhappy...we aren't quite ready though regardless i want to be his gf a while longer...we have been dating 6 months, i'd like to be engaged a little while after a year...my older cousin is getting married next summer..i told him that i would like to wait till then because i dont' want to show her up and steal her thunder, he agreed as he cant' afford it at the moment, how long should we wait after my eldest cousin is married?? this is the first family wedding in our generation. i also feel like her wedding will be better than mine. i always looked up to her as kids, her mother is willing to spend more money on it....my parents have wealth but won't blow it all on my wedding and save it for the honeymoon.
this is months away but i'm already thinking about it!

Ok, so I am not getting hitched anytime soon but as I have reached the marrying age I have, naturally, begun to consider color/floral schemes. I'm not exactly a sugary pink kind of gal and would love to do black dresses for my wedding party but have opted for midnight blue instead so my mother wouldn't have a coronary. Along with these deep blue gowns I would want my flowers to be white daisies, yellow roses, and orange tiger lillies, with silver & blue accents.

Does that sound horrible? Oh, and for the record, I plan on scheduling a late October/Early November wedding once I get a ring around my finger.

My finace purchased me a ring from kay jewerels and it is a leo diamond and I just found out that the band that was orginal on my ring isn't a leo band. I found out that it is just a normal band that there shop inscrible it with the leo signature mark and put the diamond chip in it I thought this was copyright. I found this out because my band was defective and they had to order me another band we I got the new band it was completly different from the one i fell in love with. Then they told me that my orginal band wasnt a true leo band and that the new one is in fact a real leo band, I am very upset. So I would like to know if anyone out there has had this happend to them or if anyone has recently purchased one if they new that kay jewerel could do this

OK, we are having 150 people at our wedding. Mostly family and there will be room for maybe 30 friends.

I am an alumnus of a fraternity and have a lot of people I consider friends. This is all well and good but there is simply not room for all of the guys.

I have made of list of the must-invites, guys who have been close friends with for over a decade. Then there is the group that had invited me to their wedding. But then there is the iffy list. Guys I talk to now and then but they nor I go out of the way to see or speak. Usally when we see each other it is in a gathering. However, I am not sure if I should invite them. They are close friends with many of my friends but not as close to me (but we are firends).

My fiancee's list is set and done. Mine is not and she is giving me a hard time but I am going back and forth on some people. I wold love to use the excuse that the wedding is too small, but they will know how many people I invited from the crew.

Opinions?

I'm using a fall theme for my wedding in September and was thinking instead of spending alot on flowers, to use real leaves along with candle centerpieces on the tables. Does anyone think this is a good idea or not? I'm only wondering what other people would think while eating food with leaves at the table??

What is a realistic price for a DJ in Michigan? A friend of mine who owns a bar, DJs on the side just off his computer and wants $700.00. However, one of the banquet halls we're looking at says we can use theirs for $600.00. How reasonable are those rates?

So i had a huge fight with my bf and been sleeping on the sofa for the last 3 days and i am not talking to him. The fight was about him feeding a girl we both know in front of me.I was really upset that his being disrespectful and telling me he did nothing wrong and that i should not be mad. HOw dare he say that. Am i being wrong in this matter? Should i even ask this?I just think that something like that should be between us , i mean feeding one another is an intimate thing between 2 people, i will never do something like this.I even ask him would he like if some other guy feed me infront of him and he said NO so what am i suppose to think.
DO i have th righ to be mad? And do he have the right to tell me that i should not be mad? I am mad as hell and i am suppose to marry this guy.he said he done nothing wrong and did not say he was sorry

Please give me some advise to handle this
THANK YOU

We just got married. He had been married before and they're wedding was by far better and more exspensive then ours. He didn't want to have another big wedding so we kept it small and intimate. I know all about his previous wedding, seen the pictures and video. He gave his ex diamond braclet, earings and necklace as a gift on the day with flowers delivered to where she was staying. I feel hurt because i didn't even get a card or any of those nice presents. I didnt exspect them, but when his family started asking what i got as a gift to show his love, i had to answer nothing. I got some pretty weird looks, and i was left feeling hurt all day. At his previous wedding he made a lovely speech referring to his lovely wife and how special and beautifull she is,but on our wedding he did not say anything about me or make a toast to me. Is it wrong of me to be upset about it? And how do let my husband now how i feel...should i say i'm upset?

I am getting married in August and my fiancee and I both want red and purple as a colors but I don't know how these two colors might look together. I wanted to incorporate the two colors by the bridemaids wearing red dresses and the guys in white tux with the purple vest or purple tie. Anyone have any ideas?? I want my wedding to be unique but I don't want it to be too strange.

My mother is trying to make my wedding cake for me. She is taking a standard cake recipe and trying to make an 8", 10" and 12" cake for the wedding. Last night she made the 12" and, while the cake tasted no different, the consistency was different. It was denser and darker. Also, she said she experienced the following: she tried to cook it under the same temperature as her standard 8" or 9" and when checking on it saw that it had risen greatly and pulled away from the sides....later it flattened but with a hole in the center....after that it cracked severely. Can anyone give me any help on how to cook a red velvet wedding cake?

We have been together quite some time and I asked him to marry me and he said yes. But now, we really don't mention it either one of us. Which we wear the engagement rings. I call him my fiance and he doesn't call me that yet. I was just wondering if he was serious about marrying me.
