I want my wedding to be casual.. not jeans/t-shirts but not tuxedos. I'm getting married next September. I know the girls are going to be in dresses of course, but I'm still unsure of a color scheme and what that guys should wear... any help would be greatly appreciated =D

I was just married in late August in an outdoor wedding. I wore a deep red dress and had white flowers in my hair and bouquet with red accents. My girls wore black skirts with silver accents and white tops with red flowers. The guys all wore black pants with silver dress shirts. The groom was the only one with a tie (red and silver). All the reds were a deep red and all matched up perfectly =)
On the directions, I put "dress casual attire" and no one showed up in jeans. Mostly khaki pants with dress shirts and sundresses were worn.
The biggest tip I can give you is not to stress about all the little details. Everything will work out in the end and the day really will be the best day of your life. If something does pop up that day that needs to be taken care of, I can guarantee an aunt, cousin, friend, mom, sister, someone other than you, will take care of it and you will most likly not even realize there was a slight glitch. Our wedding was so much fun. Have you ever been to a bad wedding? I haven't, so don't stress and enjoy =)

My wedding was informal. The guys wore basic black suits with silver ties. The girls wore tea length pink dresses. I wore a white floor length gown but not a wedding gown.
If you wanted to go even more casual you could skip the suit jackets and have the guys were black, navy, or khaki slacks with a dress shirt & tie.

Then your bride can use just a simple but beautiful white dress, then you can use just a loong sleeve polo and black or khaki pants. Then about the color, why not mixed your favorite color and the favorite color of your bride. Like what we did on our wedding. We use light yellow and sky blue. It's so beautiful. Then ask the girls dress in the color theme of your wedding. Best Wishes in advance!

The girls could wear fall colors like chocolate brown and burgundy with matching shawls in case it's a little chilly out (coming and going from the ceremony) and the guys could wear casual button up shirts in the same color story with khakis.

You can either wear suits or go casual. There are nice white pants with jackets that look good as well. I would suggest something in pastel colors due to the season you chose to get married. Mint green and white is very nice, but the color will be totally up to you and your bride. Good luck and GOD bless.

A navy blazer and a pair of khaki/tan pants will take you just about anywhere in any social setting unless it is specifically stated a black-tie affair.
This is always a safe bet & it is a very cool look.
A nice suit is always acceptable as wedding attire; and there are also tuxes that are more relaxed in style.
Talk with your fiancee about this and make the decision together..

Personally i feel like an event as special as a wedding shouldn't be a casual affair. Unless you're going to the JOP but its your wedding just make sure you make a note on your invitation that says semi-formal or no jeans or t-shirts please. And your attire really depends on your location too.

have you thought about just having the men ware kakis and white short sleeve shirts. This will look great with sun dresses but I guess it depends on how fancy the dresses are. You should probably choose girls dresses first and see if you can dress the men down or not.
