Oh, you can do a lot!!! Her age is perfect for a junior bridesmaid...but even better still, you can have a gift ceremony, after your vows. A lot of couples with children choose this option, even if the kids are in the wedding party. Get her a locket, bracelet, or anything else that can be engraved. Find a special saying/quote to engrave onto the item and present it to her during the ceremony. You could also have her walk down the aisle with you and your husband during the recessional, if you were so inclined.

My husbands daughter was 7 at our wedding and we did a ring ceremony with her as well. He and I did our vows and rings and then we had gotten her a smaller ring and he and I both put the ring on her finger. It was a "we're a new family" ceremony. You could also use a necklace. Have her be a flower girl unless she feels she is too old and she could be a junior bridesmaid. My step daughter loved trying on the dresses at the Bridal shop with me and made her super excited for the wedding! Don't forget her tiara..they love those.

I think that 7 is too old to be a flower girl. I thinkbeing a junior bridesmaid is always fun. But to give you a little more modern answer. She may want to be on the side with her dad. So you could make her a junior best woman. Then she could stand next to her dad. But I think themost important thing you dois to ask her what she wants to do, be with you or her father. You will be surprised to find she already knows what she wants to do.

How about making her a flower girl? If you are having a traditional wedding she could walk ahead of you down the aisle and throw flower petals in front of you. I dont know how often people do this anymore, but I did it for my aunt when I was a little girl and I still remember it.

In your ceromony have something where the (preist or whoever) make a special ceromony where it says combines the new family together. You could get her a locket and if you all have a pic.of all of you. ORa family MEDALLION.
NTRODUCTION: Often we think of a wedding as the union of two people. In reality, it is much broader. It is a coming together of families...
FAMILY MEDALLION PRESENTATION: Two merged circles often symbolize love. The Family Medallion has three circles to represent love that reaches out to include others...
PARENT'S PLEDGE: In presenting (this/these) Family Medallions(s), we pledge to you our continuing love...
FAMILY PRAYER: We give thanks, O Lord, for the relationship here celebrated. We are humbled by the recognition that today we face a new future, one where love is unfolding before our very eyes...

reckoning on her age she could be a flower female or a bridesmaid. i'd write a particular vow for her and comprise her in as plenty making plans for the marriage you are able to. Like ask her questions approximately you colours or take her paying for with you to p.c.. out your gown. in order that she feels in touch with each and every thing, in spite of each and every thing she would be your doorstep daughter. i'd take care of her as though she exchange into your man or woman daughter.

You could make her the flower girl or a junior bridesmaid.
I can't believe you would even want to marry a man who already has a child. That would be an instant dealbreaker for me.

She'd probably love to be the flower girl. And to make it extra special, just the two of you go to the flower shop and pick out the flowers that you both like.
