I am at a crossroads I am getting married and I don't want the traditional wedding colors. I am thinking of all white for everyone. But someone has told me that is bad luck. So I am kind of leaning towards champagne and gold with my dress being gold. What do you guys think? I am open to all suggestions.

My wedding is Sept. 2007 and I have picked out a bridesmaid dress in the color wine. However I would like to put my maid of honor in a different color so she is noticed and doesn't look like the rest of the girls. Any suggestions to a fall color that will match with wine?

My father passed away, so my great uncle will be giving me away. I really like the idea of the groom/mother dance and the bride/father (well, uncle) dance, but I can't find a good song to dance with my uncle. All I'm finding refer to fathers and daughters...any ideas?

We were married on April 28, after we found out that we were expecting. I have a dress and centerpieces and I want to wear and use them both. He was in the Marines and people did this all the time when they came back from overseas. Is this ok for us to do next year? I currently have a black cocktail dress with a broach in the middle and the dress ties around the neck. It's a dress that can be worn to a lot of events. My mother keeps insisting that the cocktail dress might be a little too dressy for the wedding. She's thinking along the lines of dressier than casual and not as dressy as a cocktail dress. As far as we know, the wedding and reception are both in a hotel. Any suggestions?

I love the combination of chocolate brown and turquoise blue. My problem is....I'm having a problem finding a picture to show my bridesmaids. They can't see the "vision" like I do. I really want them to see it for themselves. So, if anyone has seen the color combo or have pictures of a wedding that used those two colors, please send it to me. Thanks so much.

one is 30 years older than me but I love him dearly. We've been dating secretly for four years and my family has never met him. I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him. We know each other inside and out. The other is my age, my family adores him, but I don't love him as much as the older man. I am a nanny and i have watched children by word of mouth for weddings and events...I want to do this every weekend thou' how do i go about advertising for this? I have tried contacting wedding places and wedding coordinators...but they are no help. any suggestions? i have great refrences and buinsness cards...i just need help finding the people who need childcare, i have used craigslist.com but got nothing....

I loved this guy for years and he just married another woman. I am disappointed to not have met her but I am comfortable with the idea of his getting married. We were "involved" in the past and when he moved out of state that relationship ceased. When I finally have a chance to see them and meet this woman. What do I give them? Me and my bf got engaged in april this year and wer planning to get married may 2007 abroad. but we cant now because his parents cant afford two weddings in the same year.
His older brother has always been jelouse of us. His brother met a girl about 5 months ago and about 3 weeks ago they said there getting married May 2007 in abroad the exact time we wer thinking about. he quickly booked the wedding before we did. But the thing is my his brothers gf is horible to me. she constantly puts me down. saying things like how her dimond engagment ring is bigger and better than mine, and how shes got this and shes got that. and told me how 'trampy' my engagment party was! and how amazing hers is.
this is just a few things that have happend, shes going to move in and i dont no if i can cope. she plants evil ideas in my bf family so they hate me.
what do i do?

im 16.........and someone who is in his 20's who ive known since i was born is getting married. and i have no clue what to wear, how to do my hair or make up!!! i need ideas!!!!
