ok I want to adopt. but should I wait till i marry frist and give my husband a say in it or .....should I adopt then get married?because i want to adopt from china but my husband might not....what do I do.

personally i think a husband is a good start, once u have a kid, u need to give that child alot of attention, if ur single, then it might be trouble for him. and ill suggest asking him first. i personally wouldnt want my future wife to come home one day saying, " o ya, i picked up a kid from china, can we keep him/her?" some surprises are not good....

As the mother of two adopted children I say wait. You have plenty of time. This should be a decision that you and your future husband make together. If you wish to remain single then go for it. It may decide after you marry to have your own children... unless there are problems preventing conception.
Let me tell you......you will be wishing for that help-mate during tough times. And during those awesome times you will want to share them with that someone special. Honey sometimes it is very difficult to be a momma....you need a man standing with you to support you during the bad times and the good.

It's completely up to you. It will probably complicate the process of finding a partner if you have a child already, ESPECIALLY an adopted child. Otherwise, if you feel that you're ready to have a child and can support him/her - you can start looking into it. I personally would definitely find a husband first, simply because I want a partner more than I want a child - and anything that would significantly reduce my chances of finding a partner would be undesirable. Then,my partner and I would work together on the children.

This is major. If you are planning on getting married, get married first then adopt.
If you don't have a man in you life now, and you really want to be a mommy, start by adopting first.
Just answer this question, who is going to watch the baby for you when you go on dates to find the man you will marry?

I adopted 2 children as a single mom - if my future husband doesn't like my kids then I don't need them.
Consider adopting domestically - go through your state's foster care system and all expenses are paid.

You should wait until you are married. Since you and your husband will share the task of raising this child, he needs to be involved in the process from the very beginning.

why do you want to adopt from china? do whatever you want but they are thousands of orphans here? this is a quick judgement but you don't seem that stable. settle down and wait. not that a kid needs a husband to be happy but it helps....
