My partner and I have chosen a ring and it is a matter of time before I ask her to marry me. However, she has not divorced from her previous marriage. Is it 'right' to be engaged without being divorced from your last marriage or should I wait till the divorce is done.

with my fiance, this is 4 hours from where I was origionally from, but the respetion halls are cheaper here and his uncle will marry us----is this ok? My cousins are tryign to talk me into having it where I was from origionally----but then I don't think his small family will make it----Help?

I am having a wedding on a very small budget. We don't need to register. We have everything. Well, maybe some new bedding. Other than that nothing. What can I do about that? Also, we are having a garden wedding. Any ideas on a reception? Does there have to be a rehersal dinner? And who pays? Any serious advice would be helpful.

We have no place to stay after marriage. We bought a house recently but it only ready 2 years later. Should we just get married and rent a room while waiting or should we only get married after the house is ready? I wanted to be with him everyday and share our life but now we are not staying together and it's hard to do so by only seeing each other for 2 hours a day as both have to work. We always argued when we arrive at this topic as money is the important issue. Is marriage cost a lot of money? Marriage is when 2 persons love each other and committed into marriage. Why we have to consider money more than love?

My sister is a lesbian and she plans on having a "tradition style". With her girl in a big wedding dress and a big reception after the service in there church. This is causing a big problem in my family because we are cristians and believe that what she is doing is wrong. My oldest sister refuses to go or allow her husband and children to go. she says how can i say congrats and give my blessing to something that is wrong in gods eyes. Thier mother (we have different mothers) is refusing to go as well. That was a surprise to me because she always supported her daughters decisions "what ever makes her happy" she alway said. Our father on the other is going he says he loves his daughter and what ever makes her happy makes him happy. Please help, this situation has truely divided my family. I love my sister very much and i do not want to hurt her by not going. How do i choose between the love i have for my family and the love i have for god??????

I have choosen a very light green for my bridesmaids dresses. On davids bridal it is the periodot color, but the one I want is slightly darker. My question is: Does light pink and light green match.

I am getting roses for my bouquet and my bridesmaids. The colors I have to chooose from are a bundle of 100 roses that are light pink and white, the other set is 125 roses that are light pink, light yellow and white.

Would light green bridesmaids dresses match with light pink and/or light yellow roses?

The roses in those colors are very inexpensive and I am on a tight budget. I am gonna get them from sam's club.
