After the gown !
You have to make sure they match !
(And the gown's more important - so get it first !).

You should purchase it either at the same time or after you purchase the gown, because your gown is more important and you want to make sure they go together. I got mine at the same time, because at David's Bridal, you get a discount for purchasing accessories at the same time. It's also easier to pick out a tiara and veil while you're trying on dresses so you can see how things will look. If you want to pick them out after you buy the dress, that's fine, too, but make sure you have a picture of the dress or something so you can be sure they match. Good luck!

I would say after you buy the gown. I bought mine the day I bought my dress cuz I tried it all on together and loved the look. Some veils just don't go with some dresses....and some tiaras look better than others.

I HAVE BEEN IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY FOR 19 YRS!!!! You should start looking at a minimum of 6 mos out for the wedding gown. It can take up to 12 weeks to get your dress in,(depending on the company) if it's not off the rack. I have always recommended to my brides that they come in with some kind of idea as to what they want, and get some guidance from your bridal consultant at the bridal shop what matches best. Many brides change what they want in their head piece, so I would recommend that you wait until you have tried on several then wait no longer than 6 weeks before the wedding. HOPE THIS HELPS!

I actualy picked my veil before my gown. You can go eather way you can pick a veil to match the gown or the gown to match the veil. If you see a tiara you LOVE grab it!

You should purchase your veil and tiara WITH your gown - that way you can tell if they will look good together...

I purchased mine after I got my gown.. but I knew what I wanted before I picked out the dress.. I wanted a swarovski comb and a two-layer veil trimmed in swarovski with pearls :)
But I don't think it really matters.. :)

most places that sell wedding dresses also have tiaras and veils. i bought mine at the same store and since i was already wearing the dress i could try it on and see how it looked. the type of tiara u get has a lot to do with how ur going to wear your hair because of how it attaches. plan that out too. congrats!

You buy the headpiece at the same time or after the gown. You'll want to coordinate them.

After the gown so you can get one that coordinates. Also, keep in mind what hairstyle you will have as this can affect type of headpiece worn.
