first of all how did you meet a 21 year old your only a child and you should really wait he is way older and you can really get him into a world of trouble and if your parents found out they would not be happy either and would ground you for years. Tell this guy your cool with seeing him but more as friends for now and then when your of age you can talk about becoming more. The best relationships are built on friendships anyways.

That depends on how he wants to express his love. He needs are very different to yours regardless of what he says. I know a couple of exactly the same ages. He controls her, has made her pregnant and goes drinking with his mates while she is stuck at home. He is incapable of having a relationship with girls his own age, because he is imature and insecure himself. He is boasting how they will get a council place together and money for the baby from the state. He has no intention to provide otherwise. Love is never mentioned.
I know this must seem very romantic to you right now, and i am sure you are flattered by his interest. You strike me as a sensible girl, so ask yourself one more question...could this girl I've metioned be you next year?

I don't think the actual age gap matters....when both people are older.(ie - a 21yr old woman and 28 yr old man)
I am slightly concerned (without sounding patronising) why a 21 year old man would not have more in common / be more attracted to someone closer to his own age.
You may be mature for your age, but there are certain things, mainly sexual ones, that you should be experiencing with boys closer to 14 (I appreciate that 14 year old boys are not so sexy, but somewhere inbetween 14 and 17yrs old )
Just be wise to the fact that he may be using your inexperience with men to take advantage of you sexually or emotionally.
Try asking if he would be happy just to be friends for a while, and if he looses interest, then maybe his heart is in the wrong place.....his trousers.

If what you meant by loving him is the intent to marry him, certainly there's no problem with that. If your loving him is to flirt and loose your womanhood to him, then i'd implore and beg you that it is not worth it.
I envied young people who can read life as moving too fast for our catching and thereby device the option that is Godly by choosing to do what is right. You are ripe for marriage and that is really good because your biological made up is already ready and asking. You'd do it great if you can do that legitimately and neat.
You'd look back later in life and live to thank God, if you are doing it right today. Otherwise..
Marrying at old age like 25-30 and above is now a great risk especially with respect to child bearing and rearing. Choose it right today please.

A 21 year old man has no business telling a 14 year old he's in love with her. That is illegal to carry on. He wants you for one thing and one thing only. Get away from him before he uses you and drops you and you're left with a broken heart while he's off to the next girl....

It would be illegal for him to sleep with you as you are a minor and he could be put on the paedophiles register. You are better off looking for someone nearer your own age and he should leave you alone, you are a child and he is an adult, that's just wrong. If he does love you he will wait til you are a legal age.

I have been in your shoes before..and I was the same age and so was he. He loved me like crazy and I thought I was crazy in love with him. But it is true though, now when I look back I understand that it was not the same kind of love as I have towards the man I am married to now. It was really stupid of me to waste my time at that time - I should have concentrated more on school. I would advise you the same.

You are a minor, such things are not allowed till you reach 18 years. You can accept his love and ask him to wait till you become 18 years old. That is the age when brain works properly. Now, only your body is working and it is speaking its language. Dangerous to you. Take care.
