My friend is having two bridesmaids (i am one) she thinks that we are going to wear knee length dresses and i told her if i am wearing a short dress than i would prefer to wear my hair down, provided the other bridesmaid does too. She is okay with this but do you think it would look okay? Her wedding dress is floor length

When I got married I had my hair up and my brides maids had both of thiers partly down with pretty curls. They both had t lenght dresses and I had a long formal dress

Yes, I just went to a wedding and all the bridesmaids had their hair down while the bride had hers up.

I think it would be fine. Since you're wearing short dresses, it's even easier to pull off the loose hair, since it's not completely formal. Especially if the other bridesmaid's hair is down, I think it would look fine.

Well usually the dresses are long and the hair is up. I guess it doesn't really matter if the hair is up or down. Make sure everyones hair looks fabulous though. Sometimes other peoples hair won't look nice with the same hair style because of the way there head is shaped. Go ahead and wear your hair down. It shouldn't matter.

Sure...wear it really curly or something and it would look great. Just dont leave it too plain and it should be fine. Maybe get a fancy clip or something to put in it, or do like a half up/ half down look. The hair dressers will know what to do to make it look fancy.

It's all up to the bride, if she says it's cool, then it's cool and that's all that matters :)
(I'm letting my bridesmaids choose their own hairstyle as most of them have short hair anyhow..) :)

You need to ask the bride. This is her wedding and you need to do what ever she wants you to do. Be content about her decisions.
