Probably not. The purpose of a wedding shower is to get all those household-ish things that you might not otherwise get as wedding gifts. A wedding shower at this stage in her life might seem as just a desperate ploy to get more gifts and money. If the purpose of the shower in the eyes of the bride-to-be is just to celebrate with family and friends, a carry-in dinner, with the stipulation that the only gift needed is the company of others, is appropriate. Celebrating with food is always a good thing.

You don't throw your own shower. Traditionally the bridesmaids or a family member who isn't your mom does it. If they want to have a shower, have a shower. My cousin had 2 kids and was living with her man for years and she had a shower.

It's proper for someone to hold a wedding shower for her...it's tacky for her to throw her own.

You don't throw your own shower. Your maid of honor or matron of honor plans the shower. (Can also be friends of you that plan a shower instead of maid or matron of honor.)

Of course it is alright to have a shower even if you've lived together and have a child.

yes she can still have a wedding shower but if someone else hosts it(say the maid of honor) it would be tacky to throw your own.
