Marriage & Divorce - 17 December 2007

My husband likes to go to HOOTERS, WING STOP, BONE DADDY"S ect. I don't like that he goes. He is married now and I don't think married men should hang-out at places like that. Is that being to controlling or is it just that I don't have enough self confidence or WHAT.......please help.

you are still going to the strip clubs to view people you don't have at home. if you know they love you and you love them why do you still wish to be with other people?? if you don't like the way they are or look, leave them right??

I am married and have a kid, but for some reason I love having sex with other women. I usually tell my wife I am going out to a friend's house when I am actually going out with some girls I met at night school (college) and we usually sleep together. I like being married and having that family, but at the same time I like having that party life and having many partners. I guess I want to know from people who have lived this way before, would it be better for me to just dump the wife and live my night life or quit the other one. I want both but....I guess I like the fact that when I don't go out on a weekend and have sex with someone else that my wife is at home to be there for me instead so it's like I'm never alone. I like that, but I also like the sexy, irresponsibleness attitude of these other young women. Thanks for your posts in advance!!

Here goes. I am 25 and dated a girl for over 4 years then got married. We were married for under 3 months and out of the blue she left me because she didnt want to be married anymore. Now I am engaged to a differant girl and she is the most wonderful woman in the world. I just cant shake the feeling that she might just give up on me or find someone else and take off aswell. I am totally over my ex wife and now love my new fiance with all my heart. But my insecurity is getting the best of me. I dont want to hurt the relationship I'm in now. My ex hurt me and I told myself from the start that I wasnt going to hold anything against my new lady. So if you have any advise for me please give it. Thank you for your time.

Most of what my boyfriend and I do is argue, and I can tell that he doesn't love me as much as he used to, and he says that's my fault.. that I don't appreciate him being nice. He says that he dreadsd my phone calls because all I do is ***** which isn't true, I can be whiny sometimes I'll admit, but I don't ***** him out ever. And I do truly love him, but it doesn't feel like he loves me, and he goes on about how he needs some space, and he feels like I'm psycho and obsessed with him. Honestly I just care for him, I'm not like calling non-stop or showing up randomly at his house or anything like that at all. But like when we talk about breaking up, he goes on about how he doesn't want to do that, and he does truly love me so much. If he wants space and I just annoy him why wouldn't he just break up with me? And he's not cheating on me I'm 100% sure of that because he wouldn't do that.

He has a night job, been working there for about 6 months know, and in the last six weeks or so he is being really distant and doesn't really want to hang out. Our work schedules don't really match up so I understand that we can't talk much through the week but during the weekends, all he wants to do is sleep!!! We dont live together so the weekends is the only time we can be together. How can I get him to want to be with me more?

(Our wedding is not untill 2009, we are waiting for me to finish grad school)

My boyrfriend and I are scheduled to close escrow on a condo in two weeks. During the course of events, we find out that his ex-wife never filed the divorce papers he signed two years ago. Now the title company is requiring us to get her to sign a quit claim in order to close escrow, but she is refusing to sign! What do we do? I do not qualify for the loan by myself, so we have to purchase the property jointly. Divorce papers have officially been filed as of three weeks ago, so I don't think the property (if it even does go through) is her responsibility anyway, should something bad happen like we default on the loan. My boyfriend has consulted with a lawyer and I have an appointment to meet with one on my own. Does anyone have any advice or gone through this before?

So two girls I am dating live in the same area but don't know each other... I'm single, but dating both.. well I don't know but they seem to be out to get me. They both constantly ask me the same questions (Do you love me? Miss me? Sometimes at the same time!) and both conveniently are having the same surgery getting done.. both are always sick at the same time or can't do anything.. Does this sound weird? How do I handle it?

here is the situation, we stop dating 2 months ago, the reason we stop dating is that she's dealing with emotional problems due to her last relationship of 8 years in which her x confess that he cheated on her the whole entire time. in which she's not ready for anything serious. so we stop but 2 weeks ago, we bump into each other and sparks reignited, we hung out the entire week and weekend, then into last week she became cold, toward the end of the week she began to ask me to hang out, we hung out this weekend so i decided to get her something for x mas, i got her something not cheap but not expensive something that she will love. so last night i went to give it to her, she said NO NO NO i cant accept this, I said don t worry about it, its just a gift, i brought everyone gifts so its not a big deal she said Yeah but i didnt get u anything (i knew this) and i told her dont worry about it later on she left me a message saying i dont know how much to thank u

I live in the state of Illinois. I am 13. My parents are in the process of getting a divorce. As it stands there is 3 days at my mom's and 4 days at my dad's. I got in a fight with my dad on his day. Since they are not legally divorced would I be allowed to go to my mom's if I wanted to?

My husband and I have been together for a little over a year. We met when he was on his leave from Iraq. It was a very fast paced relationship from the beginning. When he finally got back from his tour 8 months later, we basically started right where we left off... and 5 months later we were pregnant and got married a few months after that. We have a beautiful baby girl. And he is so in love with her. But I fear that is all the love he has left after work. I know he has stress. Me too! I work and am a full time mother and do most of the housework and shopping. Don't get me wrong he has a lot of strong points but I feel like he has no more love for me. Many times when I want to cuddle he pulls away or grimces at my touch. I want to have sex more than he does. And anything sets his anger off. He has a double standard with me that he can't see or admit to. I am so lonely and lost. Is a child worth staying in this marriage? Is there hope that this will get better? All I want is his love!

My husband will let me have a bite of his hamburgers sometimes or every once in a while he'll let me have my own but generally he tells me to watch what I eat. I want to know how common this is. Thanks :)

My ex was unfaithful to me beyond forgiveness and it’s been over a year since we broke up but now she is saying that if I don’t give our marriage another chance then she will move away and take the kids with her. I want to do what’s best for the kids but I can’t even look at her the same ever again let alone be happy with her. Is sacrificing my own happiness even the smart thing to do? People keep telling me that the kids will sense it and could potentially be worse off in the long run. Can she leave and take the kids with her? Not really sure how to handle this whole thing. I just want to do what’s best for them and I don’t know what that is. Anyone ever go through this before? Oh and I know the only reason she wants me back is because she wants security. She just doesn’t want to be alone. Love has nothing to do with it. I love my kids and I really want to be a good father but is living in an unhappy marriage the right thing?
