Sad, but that is what we do to each other. This might sound rather 'twee' but having witnessed man's ability to inflict pain on his fellow man in Bosnia, Kosovo and the like, I found someone who never lets me down, in fact He was wounded and died for me! The truth is that even those we love will let us down but trust in God and He will never let you down - Forget the comfort eating and bubble bath and give all over to God in prayer.

Go to sleep. Things usually look differently in the morning. Unless it's a major heartbreak type thing, in which case at least maybe you'll be able to think a bit more clearly in the morning, put a little logic into it for yourself maybe.

Other than that, get some friends together and sit around and talk, that might help. Call a friend if not in person.

I'm in the same boat girl....rent yourself a funny movie, curl up on the couch with a blanket and some ice cream or chocolate of some sort and take your mind off things for a while. I know it's hard, but just keep busy, it's what is getting me through my rough patch. Good luck, I feel for ya!

u may benefit from group therapy where there Will be others who are also wounded and they can help u get through this. it will take a while to feel better because u will have to go through the grief process, remember that tears are proper when u have gone through any life shattering loss. prayer always works for the brokenhearted.

Someone once told me,

"This too shall pass"

Try to stay calm and accept your emotions and realise that one day sooner or later you WILL feel better and be happy again.

Even if you don't think you feel like talking to anyone, give family or friends a call, you will be surprised how it can help lift your mood a little... Try to remember you are not alone.

All the best...

I would have a martini, light some candles , take a long bubble bath, listen to my favorite CD. Then go to bed . Things always look better in the morning.

whoever's wounded you isn't worth worrying about. just keep telling yourself you're a good person & you're worth more than you've had inflicted on you. snuggle up in your duvet with a good book & mug or glass of what you fancy! diane.
