Lots come to mind. My MIL abused the person I love when she was growing u. It really did a number on my wife til this day. But yet, she is the mother of the person I love and due to the fact that my wife loves her, I have to show repect as well. Good thing though she lives more than 500 miles from us.

A precious woman named Louise, that was my mother in law for 28 years. She told me once that God didn't give her a daughter by birth, so she decided she would wait til God give her one- by heart!, meaning her daughter in laws. She is no longer my Mother in law but I love her like she is.

Shes much more of a mother to me than my biological mother ever has been. My biological mother left my dad when I was 11, im 24 now, seen her once in that time.
