I met a man a few months back who has two girls aged 11 and 15. He has then half time every Thursday til Saturday afternoon. When he's with them during this time or away with them, I do not hear from him and I have been respecting that.. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how I fit into all this...I guess I just feel a bit left out at times....like may-be I'm not that important. I know his kids will always be more important, but where is the line here in terms of us? For example, I had been mentioning that it would be great for the two of us to go on a trip or something in the fall/winter, but his response was that he wanted to take the girls on a trip somewhere...he didn't tell it was his birthday 'til after the fact and basically said that it was more important to him that his family remembered and such...it just made me feel like I was in a separate box from everything. I have not met the kids yet and he says his younger one is protective of him..I just don't know..advice

My husband is in the army and has been deployed numerous times in the last 8 years. This last deployment really took a large toll on him. He came home a completely different man. I understand that the things he's seen over there were probably really ugly, but he is rude to me, very impatient w/our son, totally bipolar and flies off the handle about EVERYTHING. He's not the same man I married. We've been through deployments before, so I really dont know why this one has totally screwed him up! I'm scared! I dont want to risk our marriage, but something has to be done. Please dont recommend marriage counseling, because we've been there and done that. He just thinks we're ganging up on him
(the counselor and myself) even though that's not really the case...We had another baby a year ago, and I thought he would mellow out, but no. He decided to go to an anger management class, he went once and never returned. He calls me nasty names...I've just had it. Anyone else understand?

here's the deal. i've been w/ my child's father very off and on for the past six years. we have both made some major mistakes and done some cruel things to one another. but dramatic life changes, soul searching, and major growth have changed both of us, seemingly for the better. we love our daughter and enjoy raising her together. she wants to see us together and we have talked about marriage but i haven't given him a concrete answer. because of our past issues neither of us fully has the support of our families/friends. does anyone here have any POSITIVE or encourage stories to share? this will help make my decision to be fully committed to this union. we do love one another in a way no one can seem to understand but im questioning if this bond is bc we share a child/are best friends or bc we really want to be together.

My friend has been divorced for 3 years. Her and her ex have a daughter together with 80/20 custody. The father gets her on weekends and through the month of August. The mother has her the rest of the time. The daughter, after visiting with the father, comes home to say that her dad is getting married. The mother is ok with that, she has been dating a few people and that is ok. My friend just wants to know if it was true, and who the new fiance is. Since her daughter goes over there, she feels she has the right to know. The father denies that he is getting married, yet to sluthing of our own, we found out that it is true that he is getting married. But I want to know, in Washington state, is it in my friends legal right to know if her ex is getting married, since there is a child invovled?

I have a friend whose wife pushed him out of the house. He's living in an apartment. They have young kids together whom he visits whenever he can. He never cheated, makes lots of money, and provides for his family very well. Now she tells him to get someone - a mistress, girlfriend or lady friend. Should he do it? I don't get this woman. He's a nice charming man who'd be able to get a woman real easy. Does this sort of thing happen a lot in marriages? What's going on these days?

Found out my ex wife was having an affair for months prior to asking for a divorce.I ignored my gut instincts and have found out she has moved in with this guy.I am so angry with myself and her.I was moving forward and now this just draged me back to all this hurt and anger. My ex should get an academy award for acting. How can i release this rage i have for her after six months of manipulation .i gave her everything she asked for,but if i had known the truth i would have been much less agreeable

I don't know if I should try the Carmen Electra one or if theres other better ones out there?

2007-07-24 15:11:05 · 7 answers · asked by bojangles1285 1

like:

not boning other chicks while married = forsaking all others
putting up with the screeching hag = for better or for worse
taking your hard earned money = for richer or poorer
dragging it out = for sickness and in health
dragging it out some more = until death do us part

Wouln't it be better if you could just do away with all these self imposed rules once and for all?
