My ex was kind of a boyfriend lol we were friends and he took me out for a v-day date. We saw each other a few times but it didnt pan out. He was more upset then i was (he thought i "cheated" on him- we hadnt talked in a month and we werent bf/gf) anyways we are back to being friends and my hubby is ok with it but thursday i go play poker with my old buddys and my hubby has started going with me.. this week the "ex" is going too. Any advice on how to introduce and not make it that uncomfortable?

Honestly because amny women tend to make a mountain out of a mole hill. If we just tell a little white lie from time to time, then we avoid a blowout over what we perceive as being insignificant.

Trying being calm and more understanding about minor issues and the little stupid white lies will usually stop.

I would imagine that no matter how you do it, somebody is going to be uncomfortable. Sorry, but be prepared. But on the other hand, should you decide not to go and the hubby finds out that the ex was there, he will think something was up with the ex. My but you live a dangerous life!

Did you sleep with him? Were you dating exclusively? If the answers are no, he isn't an ex anything and there should be no akwardness.

Someone should tell the "ex" that going on a date does not make you an exclusive couple and to grow the heck up.

When they meet, just say Hank this is Fred, Fred this is Hank. Don't go into any explanations about who the other one is unless directly asked.
