I guess the question would be what kind of retreat are you looking for? There are retreats on money issues, communication, intimacy, and sexuality. There are also retreats sponsored by churches. If you belong to a church, you can check with the church to see if they have any retreats scheduled.

If you are looking for something non-denominational, you might want to try checking with therapists and counselors in your area. They might know of some offerings. If you are looking for a workshop about keeping the passion alive in your marriage, you should attend the Hot Monogamy workshop. It's great. I haven't attended as a couple, but I am certified to teach it and it is phenomenol. You can find certified teachers at Dr Pat Love's website. Just do a online search.

Also, the natural awakenings magazine has listings of relationship classes. It is a nationwide magazine. Check out naturalawakeningsmag.com to find your local edition.

If your marriage is in serious trouble and you want an intense retreat, those are offered too. You can find them online.

I attended a Catholic engaged encounter. I'm not sure if this is the kind of retreat you wanted to attend. It's intended for engaged people obviously, but it can be helpful for anyone in any relationship. You spend the whole time with each other and other couples and reflect and share your thoughts on different issues like managing money, parenting, sex, and what your "expectations" are for each other in marriage. It can be very insightfull and raise questions you may have not thought about. The one I went to was put on by the Catholic church but there were several couples there that weren't catholic, so you don't have to be. (as long as you don't mind some prayer, etc. but nothing is forced on you.) I'd contact a local church if you'd be interested in this type of retreat. I've heard of other ones but I don't know how to find one of those in your city. Good luck!
