Marriage & Divorce - 2 November 2006

A husband should always make his wife feel special. Otherwise, another man can easily give her this feeling, right? My lover makes me feel what a woman should always feel - special, sexy, hot. My husband couldn't just make me feel this way coz he's always busy with his work. That's why i'm doing this to him. He's nice, ok... but i believe he's a complete bore. My lover laughs at him, stating that such a guy has now business marrying me. But, anyway, i am giving him the benefit of his thinking of me as a devoted wife, as a consolation to his providing for the financial needs.

how did you "know" it was over? i mean really... over. there are a bizillion web sites with "signs your spouse might be having an affair if" type lists etc... and nothing for the signs an affiar has ended. are there subtle signs like sadness or anything to look for? tell me how you KNEW it was over between your spouse , and thier "other person".

My husband has decided he wants to separate as he feels things will not work out with us (not the issue here) BUT he wants to live in our basement until he gets his finances together (he put us into incredible debt).

We have two children under 3. He doesn't and has never helped out with them. He helps himself to the food and is always happy to remind me toi pick up this or that for him at the store.

I have asked him to get his own place and he gets very mad and tell me this is half his house (it's in my name like everythigng because he had bad credit and never told me that before we got married) and he has not brought in any income for over 6 months.

I want to work things out so my heart leets him stay but my head knows I need to get him out so I can get on with my life.

I either need rules and responsibilities written up for us to follow if he stays..or how do I get him out? It's like I am looking after 3 kids right now with him.

Any suggestions? Serious please

i'm not a whore, please don't judge me easily. i'm just being true to myself, & i'm stating things as they are. my husband is often away, & i need the warmth of a man's body. his friend is willing & very much able in satisfying my needs - both sexual & emotional. & since my firstborn child is my lover's, though my hubby doesn't know it, i know that i'm completely attached to my lover... even if i love my husband also. of course, i feel guilty with what we're doing behind my husband's back, but shall i waste my feminine heat when somebody can douse it? i mean, let's be honest, girls. we all love to be satisfied sexually & emotionally by a real man, specially a well-endowed one, ryt? & since my husband is clueless, we are not hurting him at all, so to keep our hot matings really hot, isn't it better not to divorce him? because in this way my husband contributes, unknowingly, to our pleasure when we're making love. i know it's rude, but i have a point, right?

have for cashing out our (3) childrens mutual funds when we go back to court in March 07? I am a young man, and my religion is Islam. Eventually, I am bound to respect strict rules about how to deal with the other gender, I mean women. We have in my country the possibility to have your own girlfriend, but for me I think that according to my religion nothing can bring you closer to the other sex than marriage. What do you think ?

I've been married for 12 years now and have one child. My wife basically stopped showing any interest in sex after the birth of my son. If I try to initiate intimacy, she's always got a reason to say "no". It's been several years now. I believe it's a result of her depression, but she refuses to acknowledge her condition, let alone seek help for it. I really don't want a divorce, but lately I've been having trouble finding reasons to love her. I'm not some sex crazed guy....I just want a normal sex life. Celibacy was certainly not one of my long term goals in life. I find myself thinking about straying, but I realize how destructive that would be and don't act on it. I really need advice on this one....

I had an affair...a huge mistake...one I regret daily. I HAD a great sposue, loving, easy-going, faithful, and a good parent/provider. BUT I did the wrong thing by getting involved with someone who was just an amusement when I lost my job. My spouse was supportive, but I became bored and contemplative...and the individual who approached me has (unbeknowst to me at the time) a lengthy history of being involved with married persons. I did think the affair would lead to "forever after", but my new found friend ended up being a full blown pathological lunatic and it was my spouse who helped me out of that nightmare! BUT my spouse sees me as non-trustworthy and can't live with the worry...can't forget/forgive...wants to, but can't. What can I do?

I spoke with my husband last night and he basically made a joke out of everything I talked to him about him neglecting me & my needs. (See my first question). I didn't mention in the first question that he is verbally and physically abusive. Not to the point of actually punching me but everyone I talk to says what he does is physical because it hurts and I tell him not to do it. I don't have any money and I need a lawyer or something. Maybe a legal separation. I live in Missouri. Does anyone have any suggestions??

My man never wants to have sex. NEVER.
We have sex like once every six months. I used to get upset about it -but I just don't even try anymore. It just turns me into an emotional mess and he just gets defensive. I used to think he had a problem with porn - but we got rid of the computer at home so I don't think that is it anymore. He gets up early so he is asleep at like 8pm and I am up til at least 11. But what about weekends, hell - he could wake me up at 5 - I don't care when we have it, but I need sex!He is always making sex jokes - but he is all talk and NO action.
So - what's the deal?? Do some people just have NO sex drive.

Oh - and I know he is not cheating. There is NO WAY. He never leaves the house. Except to go to work . So I don't suspect cheating at all.

What do I do. Leaving him is not an option. I have 4 kids and # 5 is on the way. So yes - we have had sex, but seriously the last time was the day this baby was concieved - over 4 months ago.
Help me!
