My sister left her husband last week and I am going down to see her today (we live 7 hours apart) I think she can do a lot better than him, as he is lazy, mean, a liar and just generally horrible but dont want to say that in case they get back together and make it awkward(?) She has a son to him. What do I say to her? She wants me there for her, but I have no idea what you say in things like that

I am not sexually attracted to my wife anymore. I am here for the kids and the kids only. I am their primary care giver but she is not a bad mom, just there to pick up the slack when I cannot attend to the kids. I have to get drunk to have sex with her. She kissed a guy at work when he knew we were having trouble a couple of years ago, so I know she has it in her to cheat. Should I hire someone to seduce her and sleep with her? That way I can get pictures for court and get custody of my kids.

Two months ago, my husband (of 18 mths) dropped a bombshell and told me that he no longer has any feelings for me. We've been together for 5 yrs. He doesn't seem interested in anything, he doesn't even seem to care about himself and I've been banned from showing any affection towards him. Despite all this, I love him. We saw a relate counsellor once, which scared him off even more. What do I do?

When people get married and begin having children, do you find that you have less in common with your single, or non-married friends without children? Does marriage automatically mean a time when you and your hubby are supposed to be looking for friends that are couples, and therefore, have more in common with you? I have friends that are now married with children, or that have one without the other, who I rarely talk to anymore. I guess you can't change the fact that people grow apart...but it'd be nice to think that some friendships actually do last forever.

Your wife/husband passes on to a better place. You finally decide to marry again. Though you loved your spoused very much, you find that you love your new spouse even more. You and your deceased spouse had already bought a jointed grave site and head stone. If your new spouse wants you to be bared by them, which one do you pick?

In a relationship there are differences between men & women. I was told the following:
1) A man needs to know that his woman is FAITHFUL
2) A woman needs to feel safe & secure
If these needs are not met,the relationship will deteriorate. What is your view?

bottles of wine in the fridge, and the alcho meter is beeping it's time to refuel. Should I drink just the one bottle or go mental and do the two, moving on to the kitchen cleaner as a little night cap before beddie byes, what do you think? P.s The reason this question is in the marriage catagory is because I never encountered cleaning fluid until I got married, well I never drunk it anyway....

Riding the good times are easy.
but the hard times can really tear us apart.
However, to keep the dreams alive between 2 hearts,
must we keep holding on and try to work things out,
through thick or thin? or simply give up after numerous tries.

Just want your views on what love is all about...

If both people work at it, can a marriage really last "forever"?

I know this sounds silly. Last night me and my H were having sex and after he and I were done I just like passed out or something. I don't even remember falling asleep and I woke up like an hour later. I don't think anything is wrong with me but we haven't like done this for about 2 weeks so maybe that had something to do with it. Any ideas

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years. We both know that we want to be together and have children. We both still live with our parents, and we both have full-time jobs. We're in our mid-twenties.

I think we're ready to move on to the next level. He says no because we don't have the money. We both make a decent living. Approx. 70K (combined) before taxes, if not more. Neither one of us has any real savings, but pay all of our bills with ease. I know that if we sat down to actually make a budget, we would be able to figure out how we could easily save up for a down payment on a hosue and a wedding. We just have to stop our frivolous spending.

He doesn't seem to even want to get engaged before we have the savings and he thinks that we have enough money. I don't see what it has to do with getting engaged.

Aren't most people struggling with money when they first get married?

I recently found out what I had expected for the last year. That my fiance whom I have a child with and been together with for the last 5 years had been having an affair with a guy she used to work with. She claims that it is over between them and that I am the one she wants to be with forever. 6 months ago she wanted to leave and get her own place, we worked things out only for me to find this out now. Her own place was going to be paid for by this other guy, who is married, with 2 kids, one just born recently. I am at a loss on what to do, I love her but am scared of being hurt again. Should I forgive and forget knowing what they have done together? Should I put him through the same stuff he has put me through over the last year by letting his wife know what is going on? He came off as a friend to the family, we have done our kids bday parties together so that just makes it worse. Knowing the two of them were sneaking around behind my back. Please advise. Thank you.
