you need to get free legal aid. there's usually a waiting list and it could take a few months for them to help you, but the sooner you call, the sooner they'll be able to help you. also, you can easily find out where she lives by searching for her name here:

i don't suggest you go to her though. let the laywers handle all of that.

Boy, you have messed up big time. I guess by now you know that. First thing you need to do is go to anger management classes, 2nd Get another job trucking (truckers make pretty good money). It's nothing you can do to lower the payments. Child support is not like a credit card bill or any other bill this is support for your kids. Now if she really charged $49,000 on your name you can maybe prove it by getting the signature card and proving that it's not your signature. But you should have done this at the time that it happen. It might not be too late. You can try going to your local legal services for legal advice. Now if you want to see your children you will have to take the first step in controlling your temper. You can't change the things that your ex-wife has done but you can change yourself. So get the legal advice. Because if its stated in your divorce decree that you have reasonable visitation with the kids even if its supervise, you should be allow to see them. Good luck.

I could offer sympathy to you, but I deal with a deadbeat dad myself, however, the most important thing to our child is seeing both of his parents regardless of money. So, for the most part I let the support slide and I do not have his wages attached or anything. I know that I am the one taking care of our child. Anyhow, back to you... if you have court papers stating visitation rights or any kind of rights when it comes to your children, then you can go to court without an attorney. You can aplly for custody without a lawyer. Call the courthouse where your divorce was granted and start there. Good luck.

If the court has ordered her to let you see the children and she is not allowing you to, then she is in violation of the courts order. You need to go back to court and have the judge rule on her contempt of court. If you have a phone number to reach your ex, then it is quite easy to find out where she lives and where your children are. If you go to www.theultimates.com and put her number in the reverse look up, it will give the address as long as it is not a cell number or unlisted. Those numbers take a little more effort.

If u pay child support she has 2 let u see the kids unless if ur a criminal. U can see the kids or u dont have to pay child support. Call a child welfare agency.. I'm pretty sure i'm right

wow.....you made a mess of everything 9 years ago. sorry dude, but you really screwed yourself over on this one.

look....if you really wanted to see your kids, you would have. if my kids were in a different state, i would moved to be able to be with them every day. you didn't get a court order to specify times and locations for visitation. you need to be proactive in your children's lives. if she supposedly charged all this money to your name, charge her with fraud with your credit companies. go see legal aid. they can help you figure out what paperwork you need.

fyi....vistitation and custody are two separate matters. whether or not you see your children you STILL HAVE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT! CSS doesn't give a rats a$$ if you see your kids or not.

Pick up the phone, call legal aid, and make an appointment. You have a court order to pay support. If you don't, you go to jail. That's your responsibility. If you can't get visitation -- call legal aid.

Look whatever anyone says don't give up. Keep calling around to lawyers and see if anyone can work something out. You will be surprised what is out there. Also, keep your cool around the ex no matter what, just remember it is all for the kids.

I am no lawyer but I have herd that if you are paying child support then you can find out where your money is going. as a parent you have a right, if you need to, find their ssn # so you find out where they live. You can also try a PI. NO matter what you need to fight for those kids.

Dude is it in writing you get to see your kids? You shouldn't have to pay child support to support kids you don't get to see. Stop paying child support. if she wants to send you back to jail go to court and let them know you have been paying support to kids you haven't seen.
