well it depends on the woman. If she is th sensitive type then don't say a thing. If she is the type that likes the truth tell her the truth. If it does make her butt look fat compliment something else with the outfit. for example, it makes your stomach look slim or the color goes well with your eyes. compliments with the dress even though there is a flaw helps a girl not feel ugly and fat.

This is a trick question. Run far, far away from any woman who asks this, because you are automatically in trouble, no matter WHAT you answer! (I am breaking several Woman By-Laws telling you this, and now I have to enter the witness protection program...)

(when you have been nmarried 10 years+ you say):
your A55 IS fat thats why it looks like that.... but spot the ring, I dont have a choice. so I dont care.
or (getting nicer) (up to 5 years):
what you wear will not make the slightest bit of differece to how big yo A55 looks, how could it. (spot the sarcasm)
or just cave in (just married, or just got horny):
"I married you cos I love the way you look, that includes your damn sexy A55" and it doesnt matter to me what you wear cos I love you and that sweet rear of the year. now come over here and give me a hug"
now the truth (and you know what hun, you look so good in that new blah blah blah you baught! )
you see you just said yep it looks fat in that now put on that such and such that I like.

You just tell her the truth about how she looks in what she's wearing. If she asks then she should expect an honest answer. I never understood why people ask for your opinion and then when you give them an honest one and it's not good they get upset. I say if you don't want to know the truth then don't ask.

If she looks solid in the dress ..say so, if she doesn't, then in a polite way advise she try something else . She is familiar with she's enormous. She in basic terms needs your opinion on how the dress looks on her.

Depending on your wife. If she's an attention-whore, and a reassurance-seeker, the correct answer is "no". If she's a reasonable and emotionally stable person, she's probably asking for an honest opinion.

Tell her the truth and if it does and she gets mad, tell her not to ask those kinda questions anymore. I'm a pretty slender person and look good in most things, but my husband will tell me if something just doesnt look right. And i want him to tell me. I dont want to go out of the house looking bad.

If I would ask my husband or whom ever....I would hope that they would tell me the truth. By the way they asked you for your opion. Its not like you went up to them & said your #ss looks big. Your opion matters, since they asked you!
