Marriage & Divorce - 26 September 2006

When me and my bf split up a while ago he told me he wasn`t in love with me anymore but he did still love me.Now that we`re back together i still cant quite get my head round the fact that one week he`s not in love with me then 6 weeks later he is!

We have been together almost 6 years and i`m 24 he is 28,i sometimes think maybe he needed time away to do his own thing,we have a 4 year old son and he says he didn`t come back for his sake.

So anyway getting back to the point do you think you can actually fall in love with someone over again?have you experienced this?If so what changed your mind??Answers appreciated,thanx.

Is there anything i can do i am 23 years old and engaged to my college sweet heart who is 25 and his mom does not like me i feel so bad. I am spanish but I do know how to make Italian food as well as other types of foods and asked her for maybe a few pointers because i know i am not perfect she just gave me a dirty look. At the end of the meal i asked if she wanted any help and she said no very firmly.Then she went off on me about grandchildren and working mothers!I told her i did want children and that i would probably want to stay home while they were babies and little but want a part time while they were at school she accused me of sounding like a bad future mother for not wanting to be a stay at home mom!

Hi everyone my 3 year anniversary is tomorrow and I wanted to do something for my husband. Unfortunately I have no access to money and there is not way that I can buy him anything. We are going out to dinner so I cant cook for him either. Does anyone know anything that I can do that would be nice?

I have a friend who is divorced with 2 children and she dates married men all of the time. She tells me that they shower her with compliments and complain about their wives. I am a married woman and may be a little biased because of that, but even if I were single I don't think I could ever date a married man. I just don't understand. Give me some answers please. And because of her little escapades with these married men, I am almost skeptical to bring her around my husband or even talk to her about our marriage. I just don't think I can trust her.

I had a very vivid dream last night that my spouse of 3 years was having an affair with someone at work. I dont have any physical reason to believe he's cheating. No suspicious phone calls, emails, ect. In the dream I went to take him lunch and I caught him with someone else. I cried the entire time and repeatedly hit him. She answered all my questions from when it started and other intimate details. It was frighting how real this dream was, I even woke up crying. TOday is my birthday and so far this dream has been haunting me the entire day! Please help.

Me and my husband have been married for 8 years and have our first kid. First he was great and then he was never home and out hanging with freinds and girls ext. now he is acting better but I feel like I resent him for the way he treated me and he still isnt beeing fair he doesnt help with the baby and he only wants to talk about sex to me and have sex but it seems like he doesnt want to do anything else with me like he has went to the beach twice in the past 2 weeks and left me and the baby at home he sceduals it for my work days

Been married for 27 yrs. When my husband was 18 he was engaged for about 6 months. We have the ring with the small diamond in it. I can take it to the same store and upgrade the diamond and get full credit for the old one and buy him a new wedding band with a much larger diamond since he needs one. Ring is just sitting in a drawer. Do you think this is tacky?

After high school, I went to college and studied Film. After I graduated I came back home and married the Best woman in the world. My Film jobs have been slim and slowy came to nothing. Now I'm working a Job that I'm good at, but it's a Job I could have gotten without a Degree and it does not pay as well as it should. I'd like to stay at where I work but not sure how often I'm going to get a raise. My Wife makes good money, but I don't know how long that will last. I make more than minimum wage, but I want to know if anyone has taken care of a Family with a minimum wage job? Every time I search for another job, I get stopped in my tracks because I all know is Film. What do you people think?

I think this is gross and can't do it. I tried and it just made me sick. He says that I am very selfish for not wanting to please him and that we should divorce. I just don't think of him in the same way anymore. Almost so grossed out that I can't have normal sex with him now. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I have 2 kids and I am so confused. I got married to stay married I hate for my marriage to end over somthing so dumb.

if you would NEVER get back with your ex and you told them that, would you do the following -
go out with them now and again and have a laugh shopping and stuff.
sit and talk to them for anywere from 30 mins to 2 hrs.
confide your problems in them.
phone them when someone has annoyed you.
when they deleted your number so they couldnt call you, you call them so they have it again.
respond to flirtatious comments which are obvious.


please just answer yes or no and maybes your views on why a women would do this?
we have 3 kids, things were bad but this has been going on now 7 months and even though i want to be friends the above just confuse me. i also get the feeling she still likes me but she denys that to but laughs at things like - you love the attention in a joking manner.
please help i want to walk away but cant when its like this.
if she ignored me or said just 1 word answers i would get the hint but come on this is ridiculous.
is she waiting or....

Every realtionship i have been in the guy has always cheated on me and broke up with me after 2 years of dating me. A friend of mine in America had an affair with another man a few years back and he has recently resurfaced demanding that she have sex with him otherwise he will tell her husband about them.

Her husband has a volatile nature, they have a young child together and my friend doesn't want to break up the family by telling him the truth.

She doesn't want the other man hurt (my first piece of advice!) and just wants rid of him without her husband finding out.

Any advice on who she could contact or go to for discreet help? Nothing illegal please.

I have been going through a divorce for over 4 months now. I started having second thoughts about it (I wanted to reconcile) after the first 2 months. I tried to bring up the subject twice about 2 months ago, and her response was "I don't know". I tried to bring it up again last month (twice) and I was met with the same response. Now, she is telling me that she is leaning toward reconciling. I am wondering...why now? I gave her 4 opportunities to talk about it and I was blown off. I think she is having second thoughts out of pure fear, and I honestly don't think there is anything left of our marriage. What would you do in my position? I honestly believe that I am in a better position as far as the divorce is concerned, so that is why I think she is just fearing the unknown. She has done nothing for 4 months (and I mean NOTHING) and everything has been my responsibility. I will await your thoughts and take them to heart.

My little girl is not even 2 yet & she loves animals however, she's a bit rough on our kitten that we just got about a month ago for her. I guess we didn't really consider that she might be too young for a pet. We already had a yellow lab that is great with her. This kitten however, is a little more delicate & I worry sometimes that she might seriously hurt it. I think that she just dousn't realize that the cat is breakable and she just wants to love it like a doll or her teddy bear. She hugs it hard as if it is one of her many toys. Any ideas to get her to be able to understand that the kitten can't be hugged & laid on ? When the kitten meows for help she just thinks that it's funny. She really likes it & it is a really nice cat so I don't want to have to give it away. any suggestions?

Every night my fiance says he is not getting on the internet poker/casino but he does anyways and spends all dang night on there until most of the time I just go on to bed. I try to get him "interested" with no luck and even have tried just casually talking to him about it but so far nothing is working. I have even told him I wish he was a computer so he would pay some attention to me but that didn't work either. He has apologized and "swore" he was going to do more with me but night after night I find myself alone and staring at the wall.......HELP!!
