It's a long process. Single people start by going out to places where there are other single people. Places like bars and nightclubs are where there are lots of single people, but the quality of singles in bars and nightclubs is often not high.
There are singles dating groups and relationship services. Most of us just sort of wait until we come across someone in our lives, perhaps someone we met at work, or at a bar, or at an art show or party or exhibition. It's sort of a random process but most of us seem to end up getting married sooner or later. Hope this helps.
