Marriage & Divorce - 26 September 2006

Our 9 yr anniversary is coming up soon. We have 3 children and tight on money. I normally cook us a late dinner, after we have put the kids to bed early. I would like to try to do something different. I am not sure if I can find a sitter for the kids or not.... I am game for any ideas. Anyone have any inexpensive ones? Thanks

My cousin has been married to a man who is twice her age for about 3 years now. (She is her husbands 3rd wife) Our family has pretty much dissapproved of this relationship from the start. He is very controlling, but to our knowledge, has never been physically abusive to her. They currently share a 4 year old daughter. He constantly badgers her about unfaithfulness (her cheating on him). He is always pessimistic about life. She had recently been giving us clues that she was fed up with the relationship, and we really thought she was going to get a backbone and leave. Well, to make a long story short, she announces to our family yesterday that she is indeed pregnant again! I know that she is unhappy about the situation, and I found out through a close friend of hers today that my cousin's husband questioned the paternity of the baby the second he found out. I want to give her some useful advice. I know she will not terminate this pregnancy. Any ideas?

My husband and I moved from Tennesse to North Carolina to get away from his family because he was tired of them now he is detemined to move back up there and my family is here. I told him I will not move because it was his decision to move down here. What should I do? Should I stay here and let him move back? Or move with him. We also have a 13 month old daughter and I want her to have a dad around. I am so confused. Please help.

recently, we have been arguing and threatening me of divorce, he planned to say...visit his sister in denmarkand he is not taking me and he was looking for a flight, he found one which is 3hours lay over in New york (his ex lives in Canada which he's been talking, chatting with over the internet, by the way he lied to me about her and told me that she only a friend...) he told me also that he will be needing a US passport, he already have a british passport but he's living here now in US. Do you really need to get a US passport to go back to Denmark or this is only his alibi to visit his ex in Canada? His ex still wants him, i know that because I caught them chatting and she offer him about their bet which is a lap dance and my husband responded that he'll just have to save it for a business trip....what am i supposed to do?

Okay guy's this is more of a statement - and maybe some of you will THINK before acting. ... why the questions.... I'm cheating on my husband/wife should I tell her/him.

What do you guy's think? Are you 10 years old? Does your spouse mean that little you that you think nothing of giving to everyone. Does your spouse not deserve the same respect and consideration that you expect from them.

Next time any of you want to "jump into bed" with someone - why don't you think about your spouse BEFORE it happens. Not moan and cry about it after.

And if you've already shared with someone other than your spouse then you should give them the respect they deserve and leave them.

Children are SNEAKY that's why they are children - to grow and LEARN

We are SUPPOSED TO BE ADULTS.

Some of you really need to GROW UP.

I am 18 years old husband he is 21 and we got married after 2 months of knowing dating each other in vegas as a joke. And due to a lot of drinking that same day have a baby on the way. We have been married for month still have not told our parents and we had our first big fight recently. I have to keep fighting the urge not to throw a fit and cry?Also sometimes my husband speaks to me as if i were a child?Calls me "kid"! He says i am his baby girl and he wants to take care of me and has strong feelings for me still and wants to take care of me and his child. He is an italian guy so aparantley he has always wanted to be a father eventually though he admits this is way ahead of schedule. He wants to stay married and know wants to attend my doctors appointments. He almost seems excited?I am afraid he is going to chang his mind? Do i believe him?

I am sick and tired of my wife's aggressive style of talking. I feel she always wants to wrong me, that I am not right, I don't like it. I am 7 years older than she is, i am 26 and she is 19, it was an arranged marriage, after marriage i am very disturbed because we fight every week or after every 3 days.

I think no matter what i do, she will never appreciate, yes there is a problem with understanding in the two of us, maybe i am too sensitive and can't stand the way she talks, and she is not hating me or something, but it's her way of talking. In other words its not our delibrate something, it is something that we might have to live with, personality differences.

I can't divorce her either, because the culture in which we live, a women who is divorced is as good as dead (u know india) and the situation is worrying me more becvause i have gotten her impregranted.

Now what the hell do I do? confused as in hell...

Our weirdest was "accidently" giving a live show @ an "adult" theather in front of others. That was extremly weird but it turned out to be pretty cool!!! Wont do it again though.

Last night my husband wanted to have sex like every other night and i tell him no( last night i had cramps) I dont tell him no everynight sometimes i'm just not in the mood and he has sex with me anyways not that i push him off of me but he won't quit bugging me! So if i tell him no and he does it anyways is that rape?? i have no idea? I've been married for 3yrs & is blessed with an adorable little boy.The problem is im not in love with my husband.There was never any sparks to begin with..He was my best friend..even till this day.He dotes on me..he's a wonderful man but i just dont love him..The truth is im still yearning for my ex bf though deep in my heart i know we can never be together again cos its just too complicated ( hubby was my ex bf best friend ). He is trying to make me look unfit because I left him for another man. He says that I can't have any custody if I marry this other man. He changed the locks on the doors when I tried to take my daughter with me at the time of our breakup. As long as I am not with another man, I can see my daughter. Is this a control tactic? He says he will dub me unfit if I push him for custody or for visitation while the boyfriend is around. He says he will bring up my depression medicine, Zoloft. I went to an outpatient hospital for 3 months for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder 2 yrs. ago. He took me there after I asked for help. I had started drinking secretly and crying alot and taking sleeping pills at night. But I got help and straightened up.....this was 2 yrs. out of our 23 yr. marriage. So am I unfit in a judges eyes? And he is not perfect, he had to go to anger management therapy--compliments of his job/boss. He also found a viagra bottle in my purse and kept it.

Okay ladies be completely honest we as women have all done this weather it was by mistake or on purpose slept with or been involved with a man that was already involved in a long term relationship. If you where aware of his relationship and continued to see him what was you reason? If you didn't know in the beginning after you found out did you still see this guy or did you dump him? my husband left the state(MI) fro work in nevada in june, we have a home that we are still paying for in MI and we have children that are in school at this time. we have not had any luck as of yet in selling our home, so i am i have rented the home for $200 less than what our mort pmt is, from the pressure he has put on me to ove RIGHT NOW!!
i am pregnant and i am due in jan, i would like to stay here and save some extra $$ just in case something happens w/ the tenant, so i was looking to move in feb.
since i have told him that he has told me that he'd rather not talk or hear from me until i am ready to move, that he is tired of this phone relationship, he feels like he's single cuz he's there alone!
he thinks that i just dont want to leave!!
im so confused and torn, i dont know what to think!
what do u think is going on w/ him????

Prior to us getting married he was very promisicous, I have never had such horrible experience with this infection which has taken weeks to clear, finally I'm starting to feel better. I don;t the cause of this horrible infection and I was taking birth control pills. However, I'm so freaked out that I am fearing having sex with him, and just had an argument with him and he told me he won;t have sex with me anymore due to how I'm feeling. I feel I got this cause of him.

I'm feel I won't be able to have sex with hima nymore I;m just afraid of getting sick again. What should I do?

My fiance and I are having problems. The age differance kind of bothers me but What he did to me bothers me more. He is in a band and Saturday he went to play and I did't go with him. When he came home the next morning he told me that he had called barb(his Ex) to come give him a ride. He also told me that he has spoken with her 2 or 3 other times. This really bothers me. Last night he said he had made up his mind and he wants to be with me and make it work. He says that he called her previsiously to vent about us. How can I trust he won't do it again??? She lives with Mom and Stepdad. Father is telling daughter we are trying to keep her from him if we don't let her go whenever she wants. We tell her that after 2 year court battle judge only let's father have 2 weekends. We tried mediation and the whole works. Father never cooperated. We were ordered parenting classes. We went and father did not. Judge chewed him out. After 2 years all he got was 2 weekends per month. Daughter is upset with us because of him. Daughter has 17 yr brother and 16 yr sister. They got to go 2 weeks per month. All 3 kids believe every single lie he tells them. We have always been the bad guys to the kids. Living situations are completely different. Father lives with girlfriend in tiny, dirty, little trailer. We have nice 5 bedroom home in good neighborhood. When kids were little they adored stepdad. Father has minipulated that away. We just don't know what to do or say anymore.
