My wife a year and a half ago, decided to find herself a boyfriend and when I found out, she decided to leave. So know lives with her boyfriend (although we are still legally married) and she is encouraging my four young children (8, 6.5, 5.5, 4) to call the boyfriend daddy.

Just the other day my oldest, when she called him to talk to me on the phone, asked "which daddy, the new one or the old one?"

I have tried to be non-confrontational and have really worked to keep our relationship somewhat friendly. But I have to do something about this. The last time I brought it up, she played it off that it was just (my youngest) who was confused. But I have asked the kids and they readily tell me they are practically forced to call him daddy.

Am I wrong in demanding this stop? Any suggestions on the best way to handle it?

I have seen so many questions on her from woman who are hurt by their husbands looking at porn and don't know what to do about and think the only answer is to ignore it. But I know how that can eat you up inside and take away your self respect, making you feel not good enough or beautiful enough and you don't have to take it! Your husband should love you and respect you enough to quit this bad habit and cherish you. If he can't he is not a man but a boy who has no self control. But it is hard because this has become something that is so socially acceptable that men don't realize they are doing anything wrong. But what about the woman who subject themselves to this? Do they have no self respect? I have seen a couple of specials where some of these girls talk about doing these shows or photo shoots and then regret it. A lot of these girls also say that they were abused when they were younger. Why not do something respectable with their lives instead of demeaning themselves?

I have always known that I was BI sexual through my entire life. I got married about a year or so ago and have a 2 month old baby. Although I love the relationship that I currently have with my wife, I enjoy every moment that we spend together as a family. I still want to be able to play with guys. I am not looking for an emotional relationship with any guys, but I do enjoy the sex with them.

She was aware that I am BI from the moment that she meet me. She also comments about guys that we see out and about with me and ask me which ones I think are cute. Although I know that this is an uncomfortable subject for her she tries to go along. I dont want to lose her, but I dont feel that im being true to myself and that i am not a happy man if i dont have sex with males on occasion. I am not looking to have a regular guy, or that im going to be out every night looking for someone. Just someone that on occassion would help me satisfy that urge.

Any ideas?

Does a long time divorced woman risk losing custody because she had sex in the house when the child was home with a
boyfriend? Not in front of the child, merely in the same house. Is this considered against some custody arrangement?

Do you think you would let them do your taxes?
Would you play volley ball with them every Tuesday nite?
Would you go to their house for a pool party and hang out all afternoon?
Would you spend extra time with them without the kids?
Would you let them view your medical records while your lying in the hospital unconscious as they pretend to be your current spouse?
Could you please tell me what you think of the above?

My marriage isn't really working. We fight constantly, daily. There is this beautiful, funny, charming, intelligent girl at work and we like each other. (Nothing has happened though.) She doesn't yet know about my marriage. What should I do? The other thing is that she's 18 and I'm 30. My heart is in turmoil.

He got divorced within the past few months. I definitely don't want to be too eager, and I know he will need time. However, he shows interest in me by asking about me through friends, and by his conversations. I don't know what subtle hints to give, just to let him know that if he is interested in a possible relationship, that I am too. But at the same time, I want them to be subtle enough so he doesn't think I am rushing or pushing him too soon. I have a feeling he is beginning to think I am uninterested, because I make little eye contact and conversation with him. However, I am only doing that so he doesn't feel pressured, or anything along those lines. I understand divorce is difficult, and each person needs a certain amount of time to get their life back in order. He didn't have kids with his first wife, and they were only married for three years. Help.

I just recently went to court over a child custody petition. His attorney was so horribly rude, and just spitefull, that I am questioning his intentions on our case. I represented myself, so I had to deal with this jerk, and all of his rude comments. Even when court was over, this man was still a total jerk. He made comments about my being a bad person, and such. I was like. ummm... you don't even know me! All that you know about me is what my ex has told you, so you have no basis for that very uninformed opinion. And now, I called his new attorney to set up some visitation, and this guy is acting like I shouldn't have even called him, that I should have had MY attorney call him. WTF?? I am a big girl... I can handle figuring out a time to set up visitation on my own. Geeze.. I mean, last I checked, I am capable of speaking the English language! GEEZE!

After the fact, after the makeup, after the "I'm sorry I said that"s. A year later I still cannot recover from some things said in the past. The issue is totally talked out. I hate to keep bringing it up (and have been keeping my mouth shut). Yet the words reverberate through my head, often.

HOW DO I GET OVER IT?????

I'm resently Married and already I see the difference in the way that me and my husband interact. He is always trying to fix things and I feel like he is trying to fix me. He can't understand that I am going to have feelings about things and he can't do anything about it. He just need to understand that I am going to need my space from time to time. Is it wrong to want to have time to yourself? And how do I tell him this without him taking it the wrong way?

I'm dating a new a guy who I think is awesome.
I couldn't be more smitten, and up till now, things have been going well. (almost a month) He has left a rose at my door with a nice note to let me know that he is very interested.
He recently left to be at school for two weeks and since leaving, we've talked on the phone regularly, and he texts me sweet things every other day or so. I know his family well (I'm friends w his sister) so I know that he is genuine....ANYWAY-- today sent out a card to him. It was hand painted, (I'm an artist) and simple. Since he is studying German, I wrote I miss you in german on the inside.
So, I thought that it was too simple, and wanted to include a poem...I found one that said how I feel in a cute way. But, now, I'm wondering if I got caught up in the moment...it was short, and compared the days we've spent together to the kind of movie you rewind and watch over and over again...Ugh...now I'm thinking it sounds obsessive. How do I fix this?
