Why don't men (husbands inparticular) understand women?

They never understand why I feel the way I do, and when I try to explain, they say you shouldn't talk like that.

Not all men.only the 95 %.Lady you are 100 % right.women are the most precious diamond in earth,and sometimes is really hard to guess what they want or need, or think.we men,need to listen more,let women talk and express themselves,whatever they want to say.I agree with you.we men,need to give women time and space and over all:listen our wives,partners,girlfriends.Both men and women: need time to communicate better, one to other.Good question.

Women seem to understand men. Better than Men understand women. In a way it is easier to understand men. They are not as complicated. Their more focused, one track and less at thinking things to death.
Women are in tuned to feelings, emotions, tones, the things not said vocally.
I've found to try to talk to men about feelings. They have said they feel like their in trouble. (Chastised by their Mother) Their defenses go up. When they hear your unhappy. They are confused and feel they don't know what they have done. Even if you tell them. Their problem solvers. And when they don't know how to fix it they become agitated or make themselves scarce.
You can get them to understand. By using couples you know as an example. For example: "Say Joan and Bill have problems, She said he hasn't been very affectionate. She feels like he doesn't want her anymore." (whatever your situation is, or problem, make that theirs) Listen to his input. He'll inadvertently express his view.
All else fails get the book.'Men are from Mars, Women from Venus" It pretty good.

Because they aren´t women and that is one reason we love them. Husbands are not always going to understand how or why we feel the way we do, but what is important is that they care about our feelings even if they don´t understand them. If your husbands cares how you feel but just might not get it, then you are a lucky woman. I always use the phrase: This might not be what you meant when you said this to me but this is how it makes me feel. He sometimes thinks it is ridiculous for me to feel that way, but if it is how I feel he needs to accept it. Also I try to talk things threw with my girlfriends alot. It helps me vent and us women always understand each other. Sometimes I find I don´t even need to talk about it with my husband after that.

They don't want to take the time.... Its to much work....so th next time he wants sex tell him he should act that way...they always want us for things they need...give him a taste of his own medicine....Good Luck
