I have seen so many questions on her from woman who are hurt by their husbands looking at porn and don't know what to do about and think the only answer is to ignore it. But I know how that can eat you up inside and take away your self respect, making you feel not good enough or beautiful enough and you don't have to take it! Your husband should love you and respect you enough to quit this bad habit and cherish you. If he can't he is not a man but a boy who has no self control. But it is hard because this has become something that is so socially acceptable that men don't realize they are doing anything wrong. But what about the woman who subject themselves to this? Do they have no self respect? I have seen a couple of specials where some of these girls talk about doing these shows or photo shoots and then regret it. A lot of these girls also say that they were abused when they were younger. Why not do something respectable with their lives instead of demeaning themselves?

Sorry if the question is a little jumpy but thank you for taking it seriously. I disagree that porn is a healthy release, I think that it teaches men (women) that sex is just sex when really it should be an intimate act between to people who love eachother. I also think that it is terribly sad the way that sex in general is viewed by society...it seems like the younger generation (and I'm only 22) has turned it into something that is just a game. I just wish that girls could see how much they are degrading themselves and step up find other ways to empower themselves. I see how men look at women in everyday life and it disgusts me. Some of them just have no respect and it's sad because woman are incredibly smart and creative and capacle for so much more than just showing off their bodies. And my husband and I have a great sex life and he is very satisfied and I am very comfortable with my body and he likes it too. Thank you very much!

Thanks to the men who took this seriously...and to the other men who proved my point and think they are entitled to views of naked women...sad.

As a man, I do agree. i dont like porn, I could never look at my neice and think, hey, she could do that someday.

Those girls doing the nasty are someones daughter, granddaughter, neice, anything.

It's very sad.

I have a lot of respect for women who stand up against it.

Ban Brittney Spears too...ug.

While I think that your words need focus and clarity, you are correct. I think that porn addiction has become socially acceptable in today's society and many young men are horrified by the idea that they should not be disrespecting their mate in this fashion.

If you don't find your sex life fulfilling, you need to talk with your partner and express yourself in a calm and rational manner. I think that if you agree mutually that the man is unable to achieve the kind of sexual release he desires and he speaks openly and honestly with his partner, he is well within his rights to seek stimulation in a simulated form, however I think that you will find that many women are insulted and unhappy by a continued use of porn when another outlet (her) is available. I think that many women remain silent on this issue because men are so vocal about porn being normal and healthy.

I think that if the woman agrees, porn can be a fun way to get together sexually, but if a woman finds porn degrading and innapropriate, you need to see these feelings as valid, not as an "insecurity" that is "her problem".

I find it hard to believe how judgemental so many people here are...so what if a husband wants some porn movies occasionally...big deal..watch them with him. Porn is fantasy, no more, no less..what is the difference if it is up front and on the table, or going on in his head in secret...at least it is a shared thing, and if used right, can be a big turn on at times. Get over all this judging others...what works for one may not for another.
As far as being jealous of porn! Wow! Do you really think these guys could get a date with any of these women...do you really think they would WANT a date with these women? Of course not! This is all head games. Men are extremely visual. Why is it that when a guy gets married, he is supposed to deny himself as a person who is born to SEE, to WATCH, to get excited. Do we really have to be all and only to our mates in all departments? Do we really have to OWN our mates? I think not.
And as far as women stripping, talk to some strippers and find out the real story...all strippers I have known tell me they have a very real sense of empowerment over the men who stand with their tongues hanging out...why wouldn't they feel that way. IF a wife wants the same power, get thee to a stripper's school and learn how to do it effectively..do it in secret, then perform for your husband...talk about real porn..blow his socks off! Folks, there is far more to the human brain as a sex organ than you give it credit for..it was given to you by God..so don't waste it, use it as it was intended...and have some fun along the way. Why are you alllllllll so serious about such things. Get a life before you lose what is nearest and dearest to you.

Face it men are going to look they are visual. I am not the only women that is going to turn my husbands head. It is easy access to find the porn for men on the internet before that it was hidden magazines. I am not saying it is right but it is to late because women have been doing that for years and years. I do not think I am less of a woman because my husband wants to look. Men are going to look regardless of how many times you tell him it hurts you. He will just get sneakier and sneakier on how to be able to look at it.

Who cares what they do? Is that really any of your business? Personally I wouldn't take my clothes off "just to feel good about myself" because that's a false sense of self confidence but I don't worry about what other people want to do with their lives and if some wives are offended with their man looking at porn, that's also their problem, not mine.

BTW, my husband looks at porn ONCE in a while and this does not bother me at all. Why should it? This is my opinion and how I feel and I understand not everyone will agree but...to each his/her own.

Why worry about "these women" in the porn industry? It's not like u can control what they're doing.

Of the millions of women in the world only a very small percentage are involved in the pornography industry... Yes they are the ones we hear the most about but they are not in the majority...

The vast majority of women want to be appreciated/ respected for thier minds, but sex sells and brains don't..

You answered your own question. A lot of women in the adult industry were abused, have been exoploited - it affects your sense of self-worth, maybe they're just searching for approval?

You should read Traci Lords autobiography, and try not to be so judgemental.
