I just recently went to court over a child custody petition. His attorney was so horribly rude, and just spitefull, that I am questioning his intentions on our case. I represented myself, so I had to deal with this jerk, and all of his rude comments. Even when court was over, this man was still a total jerk. He made comments about my being a bad person, and such. I was like. ummm... you don't even know me! All that you know about me is what my ex has told you, so you have no basis for that very uninformed opinion. And now, I called his new attorney to set up some visitation, and this guy is acting like I shouldn't have even called him, that I should have had MY attorney call him. WTF?? I am a big girl... I can handle figuring out a time to set up visitation on my own. Geeze.. I mean, last I checked, I am capable of speaking the English language! GEEZE!

Welcome to the real world of law and attys. Most attorneys have this stupid idea that they have a macho image to uphold and are mysteriously supposed to act a certain way, Why or how this came to be nobody knows. Maybe TVs Matlock. Anyway most attys prefer to speak to anothers atty than directly to the opposing party to avoid problems that may come up or rude comments made when someone doesnt like to hear something. Attorneys are professionals who sometimes are too much business and take things too seriousily, but still should not be rude and definitely should keep their comments to themselves which majority do but like everything else theres always exceptions.

Law school is called 3 yrs of Hell to become the devil. Some take that a little too seriously. He wanted to talk to your attorney as a professional courtesy so both of them could earn their hourly fee and laugh how much a pointless phone call costs because they couldn't pick visitation times since they didn't know you or ex's schedules. If you go to court again - ask the Judge for a court mediator to arrange the visitation. It will be easier or the next time your ex gets a huge bill offer the family court meditation- they can make it easier. Good Luck!

The point was to try and make you angry so that you would loose your cool. That is the way the have to act to intimidate you. Pay that lawyer no mind. Press on. Do the best you can. Remember you are fitting for your child and don't let them get the best of you. As you sd you are a big girl. You are a woman that knows what you want. Keep fitting until either you get your son back or you can get visitation on a regular basis..God bless.

The attorney is his paid friend. You calling is Ok ... however you may eventually need your own attorney for visitation. Sad that this could not have been worked out without the courts.

The attorney is supposed to act like a jerk - in order to piss you off and make you lose your cool and make a mistake. If you had hired him he'd be just as big an assh*le to your ex

it ought to nicely be they're afraid you'll/ought to convince them to proceed the courting. For even with the reality that reason, females extremely convince adult males... actually, i ought to probable wager how. So even as a guy starts to get bored, he distances himself hoping you'll too. even with the reality that this isn't the case, as this workout my draw the females closer, exacerbating the area for him. If that takes position he will advance the point of distancing, now scary you extra. that is a lot more effective for him to distance himself from you, then proceed the courting and cheat on you. You deserve someone it really is in to you one hundred%, so do not get in the weeds with someone a lot less in touch. i actually created a facebook web page to debate relationships, relatives and budgeting. you need to take a seem once you've the time.

Not required, but all too frequent. Do you know why Texas has the most rattlesnakes and California has the most lawyers?

Texas got first pick.
