I need help talking to my husband about our crumbling marriage. Neither of us wants divorce for the sake of the kids, but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to say to get him to agree to work on things (preferably with a therapist, but he refuses). I'm in New Jersey - any help?

I am a divorced mother, and my son is only 9 years old. What I do not understand is why would a boy who has gone through puberty yet have sex?! I've talked to him about sex before, but I don't know what to do.

I'm curious -- have you ever passed up a "golden" opportunity to have a fling with a woman you found attractive while you were married/seriously dating someone else, but decided not to go for it? Why not? Would you have felt too guilty? Or would you have been too worried she'd find out?

Do you ever regret passing up the chance?

The rationale for the study was that men did not sleep as well with a woman in the bed and ended up faring worse on tests in the morning. Interestingly, this didn't matter much for the women.

I am talking about people who are already late twenties, early thirties and financially stable with no other major problems in their relationship or life. Is this an excuse (that the girl wants to get married) to get out of a relationship, or are men really bothered by such pressure enough to end the relationship even if they love the girl?

While my husband was away in Iraq...I cheated on him several times...with different people. I have no clue why I did it and have no feelings towards those people whatsoever. I feel really guilty about it, but I know if I tell him...he would leave me. I love him to death...and I wish I could take back the past. I don't know what to do! On top of that, my best friend (well, I thought she was my friend) is threatening to tell him what I did because she is upset at me over something stupid. My whole world is crumbling down around me...I know it is my fault...and I am probably just feeling sorry for myself...but, I want to know if there is a possible way to fix all of this. Our marriage is great right now...except my guilty feelings....

I know he will get defensive and it will turn ugly - but is it selfish to tell him I am not happy or best to keep it to myself. I have not cheated or done anything wrong - and we are not perfect. But for months I have been feeling like I am ready to end this but I say nothing. We have a rocky history so no shock, but maybe with time it will get better? I cant seem to focus on improving us when part of me has tuned out already. Thoughts?

And yes - I do have someone else that I think of - but do not speak with and will not contact and he has no idea I think of him.

Even though I'm young and want to marry, I probally have the best reason why. I have an illness that's life threating, but not threating to others. My days of life will be shorter than the average human's life span, so I don't know when I'ma go. But I do love him and he loves me and I belive thats what counts.

I don't get it. I see so many people who hang on to relationships that are not healthy and sometimes downright abusive. Why do people need to be in a relationships in order to feel complete? I mean if you have a desire to have sex, then have sex or masturbate or something... if you are lonely, hang out with friends or family! Why do people stay with a significant other when that significant other brings all kinds of drama to their life? Are people that scared of being single? Getting involved with someone who is not right is the reason so many people get divorced! I mean it's common logic! Sometimes I think fellow humans are so stupid! I would personally be a lot happier being single than I would be in a relationship with someone I'm not compatible with. I'll get involved with someone when I meet someone I think I can get along with and be myself around and vice versa... Seems like I'm one in a million...Does anyone else feel me on this???

We all know that "straight" people's marriages are having problems. 50% of all marriages end in divorce. Could gays do any better statistically?

I got married almost 10 years ago in the Dominican Republic and I recently read a story of a couple who married there and just found out that their marriage isn't legal outside of the Dominican Republic. How would I find out if my marriage is legal here (I live in the UK)?

Say you are married and this other guys is married and he says that he is unhappy with his life and wants to get involved with you.
You have NO INTENTION of cheating on your husband or doing anything with this other guy.
Would you tell the other guys wife?

We hate each other ,so we promised not to say a word during the encounter; only oral and banging. We feel this will be helpful for our future work relationship. All I need is one NO and I'll set it up. Thank you.

I meet this guy in yahoo chat and we hit it off, we just knew that it was God that had put us together. He lived 5 hours away from me and after a year of traveling back in fourth we wanted to take it further, he then came here and moved in with me, after the first year he was here he came home one night from drinking and tore into me, I then had to call 911 and he landed in jail for 3 months, after he got out we tried it again, we got into church got counciling and then got married in march of this year, five months later he is at it again, I had to get a epo to get him out of my house and now I have filed for a divorce. He is still here in my home town and living it up, it kills me to know that he is out having a good time drinking and living it up, I love this man but I do have to let go of him and I think of what he may do to the next female he is with. I have found out that he has a record a mile long, this man went as far as getting out butcher knives and threaten me with them.
