I'm curious -- have you ever passed up a "golden" opportunity to have a fling with a woman you found attractive while you were married/seriously dating someone else, but decided not to go for it? Why not? Would you have felt too guilty? Or would you have been too worried she'd find out?

Do you ever regret passing up the chance?

Thanks for your honest answers. Sounds like for many of you, the deciding factor is the quality of your relationship. If you've got a great woman at home, you don't feel the need to look elsewhere, even if "elsewhere" is extremely attractive -- personality and looks. Would you say that's accurate?

Of course! I've had several opportunities to cheat on my girlfriend, but I trust her, and I know she trusts me, so why would I want to cheat on her? Why go out for burgers when you've got steak at home right?

Yes I have passed up more than one golden opportunity that I passed up. There has been more than one reason each time. The first time I was 22, and I found out she was 14, not 16. Second time was a woman who decided she would give me a umm you know for a wedding gift...I didn't think it was appropriate. Third time... my dad's best friends daughter was going through a divorce...poor baby, but I'm not very good at catching rebounds. Fourth time...best friends wife came to the door in her black lace babydolls, naked underneath...Lady what are you thinking!! I've never regretted passing up the chances. Some day I'll tell you about the ones I did go for.

All men who have any looks at all, any personality, who are not beer gutted into a coma, regardless of age, have daily chances to do the deed with hotties. Big deal. Yes, is the answer, all the time, and NO, I choose not to...the costs are far too high. Not to a relationship, for no one would know but me...and that is enough. I will admit there were times when I did...I always paid a steep price for the foolishness, and finally (I guess I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer) figured out that what was at home ran circles around the best on the loose. How's that for honesty?

I'm an old fart. Nay, I'm a dirty old man. I lust for women every day.I was married for 18 years, and didn't cheat. Married again, and haven't cheated. But I'm attracted to lots of women. That's called being human. Now, I'm not talking about leering or staring, but I am allowed to like seeing attractive women. In the bank, the idea of a small robbery seems appealing, but I don't rob banks. So I appreciate nice looking ladies, and go home to my wife. Besides, I doubt Paris Hilton would date me anyway.

I did cuz I was going out with the girl I ended up marrying. Now we are getting a divorce 20 years latter. So now that I look back I can say 'dang' I should have slept with her that night. I was 28 and she was a very hot 20. Wish I could find that girl now.

Married men have the chance every day that they live to cheat-- But they took a thing called MARRIAGE VOWS that makes them not want to do this;;; when you have a good married life- why open the door to see whats on the other side?

Yes, I have had opportunities to cheat. And no, I didn't I really believe that you have to keep your promises.

Even if I hadn't been caught, I would have known. And had I been caught, I would have taught my sons a very bad lesson.

Yes several times, not because i thought I'd get caught but because it just didn't feel right. A few times I went ahead, felt lousy about it, then she knew I had. Just ask any of my ex-wives.

Yes several times, but i did not want to destroy the trust we have. It would be disrepectful to her and me. Besides the best piece is always at home.
