Call me pessimistic, but nowadays when people get married at a young age it doesn't last longer than a couple months 2 a year. Maybe in the past it lasted long, but these generation of young people don't understand that marriage takes work& they dont take it very seriously. Maybe it has something 2 do with their up-bringing, I dono, they often rush into things & it ends in divorce. If u really feel it deep in ur heart that it is right, take it slow, dont rush take ur time 2 know EVERYTHING about the person(u dont want any surprises)!!

I think Loretta Lynn (the CW singer) was 13 or 14 and it lasted until her husband died a couple of years ago. Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 -year-old cousin, but it didn't last.

in some cultures, people are "married" when they are still children. Usually the marriage is not consumated until they reach puberty. Generally, that sort of marriage is made to align families, and divorce is not possible, so the marriages last until death.
