How long have you been married ?? I have been a little over three years and it's like after I said "I DO" it all changed the excitement and fun its all about work and kids now. It's just so true it does seem to suck after you get married.

Cause you are to use to what life was and all the freedom you had! But it is not that bad after a while have kids and get all the toys you never thought you could and stay cool with them and in with the times you should be a good dad, but live in the past and you could be rougher on your kids then you need to be and have a miserable marriage, dont get me wrong mine has not been a bed of roses but it has grown to be wondrful, you just have to get use to the same thing being at home and learn to change it up and make it seem like something new again, your woman will still want to play hard to get and want you to act like you are hitting on her so she dont feel like she has to just lay it out there, they tend to kinda want to keep meaning to it we like the feeling of just getting it. If you dont have kids already get out there with the little woman and do stuff like take her on a fishing trip then go to the mall or some tiype of a show that she likes a good healthy marriage comes with sacrifices but can be real fun both have to be able to do what the other likes or they will soon part cause of the diffrences and in cmpatibility that will accrue. stay focused on each other and dont get sucked up into what you see out there on the market, remember you got married for the love you have for one and other.....

Sometimes we get married too young, have kids too fast and just get into the responsibility of life too much. Life should be fun and for alot of couples the fun goes out the window after a few years of marriage. Once the fun is gone, usually someone begins to look to another person for that 'fun'. But its the same with everyone....if you let your sense of fun go away, marriage kind of sucks.

It doesn't really--you just fall into a pattern of work, home, blah--same ole same ole--sooo my hubby and I decided long ago that we have "date nite" at least once a week-no matter what-him and I go out even if it's just a couple of hours. It's not gonna be sweaty palms and hot sex every night after a few years--but there is the security of being there for each other every nite (even if it's just a grunt "g'nite" and you roll over and start snoring!) It's kinda nice to wake up and see that same face every morning.

i guess marriage is like everything else its what you make out of it but you both have to pull the same way and in my case that doesn't happen and that sucks its all about him or nothing so i am with you all the way would love to no the answer to that my self i guess once they marry you they say oh well i have them now so i treat them how i wont

Marriage SHOULD not be taken for granted you know, you marry a person because you love that person and you are willin to spend your life with that person... so if you marry a person you dont really love? it would defianlty back-fire on you as in it would not be that interestin anymore...and would you be willin to do anything to get out of it

You are with the same person day and night. You can even finish each others sentences before long. The excitement and "newness" is gone. But you do have a partner that is on your side forever.

It doesnt have to "kinda suck".... Yours just need a little bit work. You have not exaclty specified why it sucks but for whatever reason, talking to your spouse about it might help.
