My "husband" for over 15 yrs have decided to part ways; Texas says that because we lived together as husband and wife, we now must get a divorce...my partner says that I'm just being difficult and that there is no reason to have to involve lawyers/laws. I think he is saying that because that would mean it is truly going to happen and he can't continue to drag his feet...I want to save this marriage but it takes two and he's shown no effort other than not making a firm decision. Any suggestions on the legal or emotional aspect of this situation? I've finally gotten over the initial shock of seperation to being totally fed up with being in limbo...HELP>>>

My husband has decided to switch careers, kind of, it is just a dif. area same field. We are to relocate for about3 yrs, and then move again for another 3yrs. This is not the lifestyle I want to live, I already feel as though I am a single parent at all times and yes I work full time also.. I do it all.. He has made it clear that his career will come first, since we are not living together right now he is away at training, I have began to realize that there are certain things that I desire in life and things that I want, I have told him this and we just do not seem to be on the same page on ANY of it. I feel I owe it to the marriage to at least move and try it, but then another part of me does not want to go I have enjoyed my time alone . I have told him that things will need to change and told him what, I know that you can not change a person, we seem to have hit a brick wall any suggs, I have mentioned marriage counseling, but so far it has been a no go.. help

I have a b/f of 11 years, we have a 8 year old and I love him very much but the last few years we have been so distant from each other.I dont want to be vague with my Q but they dont give you alot of charachters to write with. He wanted more sex from me, but I wanted more mental stimulation from him to give him the sex, I was miserable in the relationship and moved out in march and we both were hurting. We were suppose to start dating to bring back the spark but we got a bit distant. He claims that he wants to make it work and that he wants his family back but when we sit and talk he continues to get texts on his cell phone from other girls and I believe I have lost him. I got us a counselor and we are starting to go but could use some additional info from all of you out there. He says that this is my fault because I left, but he mentally left us while I was still living with him also. We say that we love each other but we are so distant.

A lot of women are materialistic, and some are really money hungry. I want a woman to love me for me. Not trying to dig in my pockets. Guys you agree? I'm not stingy, but alot of these women are trifling!!!! No good golddiggers. You know who you are! Some even have babies just to collect more child support. Hmmmm.

My husband got upset at me this morning because I would not go back to bed when I was sick, and he needed to check things on the computer before going to work. He said he was waiting for me to go back to bed before doing his things. I questioned this as it did not make any sense to me. He told me he did not want to be rude and walk away from me to do his things as I was sick and we were talking, so he was politely waiting for me to go back to bed first. He ended up yelling at me, hitting his fists on the table, and cursing at me. He said he did this because I kept repeating myself, and I did not beleive his explanation, and I was trying to turn it into something it was not. He said he was waiting for me to go to bed first as to not be rude, but do you beleive that or do you think he was trying to hide something from me? What do you think?

I was married for 12yrs. My wife changed over the years and became someone I don't even know now. Her morals changed, ideals etc. She stopped loving me and being a wife 3yrs ago even though we stayed together until last Nov. I still love her even though we are separated and I want her to come back home.

I asked any earlier question titled: "Differences to difficult to overcome?" And now I have a followup question. We both do love & care for each other very much but since our goals aren't quite in sync do you walk away from someone you still love very much? I'm really afraid of regretting the decision. He says we can compromise but really how do 2 people comprimise on what they want for their own lives? Thanks for the help.

Weve been married for 9yrs and recently went through some hard times. I was ready to leave when I found my first love online. We talked for a while and then we met and were together. My husband found out and is heartbroken. It has changed our lives for the better. Because we both realized how much we love each other and we werent ready to split. I really regret doing what I did and have cut all ties with my first love. He is having a hard time dealing with the thoughts of me being with someone else. I have apologized and hes accepted it but it still hurts him and he makes rude comments sometimes. I want to make all of this right and move on. How can I get him to trust me again ?? How can i help him cope with the pain ?

On my wedding day they all behaved like animals and my mother in law spoke badly about me in from of my sister's husband who later told me. I thought my mother in law and I had a great relationship but I was told she talks behind everyones back. My husband's brother was the best man and didn't even give us a card.

I have been married for 7 months. This is my first but my husbands 2nd. His first wife left him and tramped around town and he never thought he would get married again. I have never done anything to make him not trust me, but if he doesn't talk to me for a while he assumes I am doing something behind his back. I went to lunch with a female coworker and my phone was still on low by accident (I keep it on low so that when my husband calls or texts me at work everyone can't hear) and I didn't hear it ring at lunch and now he thinks that I am lying about who I went to eat lunch with. I love him so much and we both admit that we are each others best friends. He knows that he has trust issues but what do I do? He gets mad when something happens because its like deja vu for him. I understand he doesn't want to get hurt but what I don't know how to make him understand that I am not trash like his exwife.
