ok, so i've been on the birth control pill for about 2 years already, and I stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago, what are the chances of me getting pregnant, or shall I say, how long does it take for me to get pregnant?

There is no right answer to this question, each person's body holds different levels of hormones so when one person may be 1 month another may be a year it just depends. Most doctors tell you 6 months to a year before you worry about being infertile.

My sister got pregnant 1 week after stopping the pill. I know others it took 6 months.

I was in the same situation and I got pregnant a week and a half after i stopped taking my pills. Be careful.

You can get pregnant on the pill if you take it at different times everyday, so if you stop all together, i would imagine you could get pregnant the day you stop.

It could take any where from 0 days to 2 years. And I am serious. It took my wife and I over 1.5 years, while a friend of our it happened after 2 weeks.

Anyone that says it varies is right on the money. EVERY woman is DIFFERENT....I got pregnant with my third child while TAKING the pill..........and I hadn't missed any pills either!

it takes one second. You will get pregnant if you have unprotected sex during the middle of your cycle
