Please well thought out answers. Not something like "a bad spouse, duh".

I lost interest physically for my husband, the spice and fun was gone. I needed to make sure it wasnt my fault physically. after I
strayed I realized that after 10 years of marriage the excitement was gone, no spontinuity, or diire existed. for me straying was physical rather then mental. I still love my husband but....not in love, He is very attractive, but the chemistry wasnt there anymore.

There are so many things .... but it all comes down to not having enough integrity to honor the commitment no matter what.

Here are excuses I have heard:
-- s/he was unfaithful, so I was too
-- the sex wasn't good enough with spouse
-- s/he was gone too much
-- life wasn't exciting enough
-- I married young and didn't get to experience freedom enough
-- temptation was more than i could handle
-- i didn't think s/he could find out
-- i am not satisfied in my marriage

None of which are a good reason, only excuses and rationalization ...

If the marriage is really bad and worth giving up on, then divorce, don't cheat.

I strayed emotionally in mine because the love was not there for my wife anymore...at times I couldn't stand to be around here...I never strayed to go have sex with somebody it was all emotional...we are now getting a divorce....and yes I got caught...and that is when everything came to a head...and now she realizes looking back over the years that I really didn't love her....

People change. They either get closer or grow apart. In my case, the other person turned to drugs and other women. I could have stayed and tried to get him help, but I chose to leave because I wasn't all that happy, either. It just wasn't worth it. Some people are not meant to get married. It gets boring sometimes.

Any woman dying to go to bed with me and give me great quickies during lunch I'm attracted to. I see no harm when I don't get any at home. And I bet a lot of people will agree.

Lack of sex. Having the opportunity that you didn't have with someone before being married.
