Marriage & Divorce - 6 July 2006

Our daughter has been on summer break with my sister and my wife reveiled to me she wasnt happy with things and wanted to spend some time apart. We meet a couple of times a week for dinner and her stance has not changed. (a month) we are going on vacation in 3 days and I would like some advise on how to handle things. We will be gone for a week and our daughter will return soon there after. I am taking this much harder than she is. She insist that there is no one else and is just not happy. I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my life with her because I love her more than the world. Please help me!!!

So I am married now for seven years. My husband and i have had many ups and downs. Lately I have been questioning myself if I really am in love with him. I know I have love for him. But sometimes I feel as if I am getting the short end of the stick. For the past couple months he has been a wonderful husband. I just don't know if I even care to return it. We got married young, age 22. Sometimes I think what did I find attractive in him. My view on life seems so different now, and I feel like someone else would fit me better.

I met this man i really like but he is married and has a daughter.. i like him so0o0o much i am usually a girl that can control her feelings but with him i cant i want to stop liking him but it seems impossible plus he says he likes me 2, he also says he is not in-love with his wife but i wonder y wont he leave her if he doesn't love her??? Ok so here it is, I'm 21, in college and engaged. I'm looking at getting married between 1-2 years from literally now. All of sudden, I'm feeling cold feet. (and it's not even close to the wedding yet). I told my one guy friend to enjoy this time right now (b/c he just got dumped) and just date around b/c I remember when I dated around not too long ago, and I told him how fun it was. After hanging up the phone w/ him it hit me, I'll never get to do that again. then it's like wow .... scary...not to mention the guy on the phone was a guy I use to love I've known him sincre I wasd 15 and was instantly smitten over him ^_^. but we never got our chance. after having lunch w/ him yesterday, it made me think, what if. I feel awful for thinking or having those feelings. am I terrible? I need some major help/advice, so please no ignorant comments like "tyou;re stupid" or something of the sort. constructive critism only.

We have been together for almost a year and talk about getting married a lot - but, because he is Catholic. If we are married in the Baptist church, his marriage will not be recognized as and official marriage in his church. I am willing to explore Catholicism in the future, but my grandmother's have passed and I would like to be married in the Baptist church to honor them. Any suggestions?

By leaving the door wde open i mean that my best friends wife is enjoying and encouraging my flirting and etc. For example this tuesday myself, her and her husband were at a local lake swimming with our kids (they have 2 and myself and my wife have 1). There are so many divorces today - why? Do people rush into it because there's no time anymore or what? How do you know that you'll work(as in co-operate) together and love eachother for the rest of your lives through thick and thin? Do you have to have been through things together before? How can you be sure? It's such an incredible commitment.
