If you have kids, and she works outside the home, she is probably exhausted. If there are no kids, and her job seems fine, she might need some extra attention. Foreplay is an art that is in higher demand the longer a woman is with the same partner. (at least that has been the case with me) For starters, I would reccomend making an effort to caress her as she's getting ready for her day- from behind while she's doing her hair or make-up; just something gentle and appreciative of her beauty- make her feel like a woman- not a wife, or mother- a beautiful, lust-inspiring woman. Think seduction! Start in the morning, and let her know that you are looking forward to seeing her that evening. Build some suspence.
Take over some of the house duties for a week, and let her know that you recognize and appreciate what she does. I think if you make a concentrated effort to pay attention to her, it might help.

Find out why she doesn't want sex anymore. She might be punishing you for something that's hurting her emotionally (a common problem). She might be having an affair. She may be insecure about how her body is changing with age (and comments from you about her weight wouldn't help that). Or she might be going through menopause -- lack of sexual desire sometimes happens then, and you did say you've been married for 19 years.

A previous responder recommended a sex therapist, and that's a good idea. And after you check out all those possibilities, if the problem persists you might talk to a divorce lawyer -- the situation that you describe is called Alienation of Affection, and it is grounds for divorce. If this woman truly doesn't want to be married to you anymore, you're not doing yourself any favors by sticking around.

Let's get the terminolgy right - if she wants nothing to do with sex anymore then she is no longer your wife, she's a roommate - so, do you want to keep her for a roommate? If yes, keep her and find someone on the side - hey, if she won't take care of you, you're entitled to find someone who will. And if you don't want her as a roommate then the next move is obvious - and don't let the door hit her in the @ss on the way out.

Be romantic. Set the mood. Increase your intimacy by talking about feelings, asking her about hers, caring about her in an intimate way. Some guys just expect sex without intimacy, and that's fine sometimes, but after 19 years I bet your wife wants romance and intimacy and that will lead to sex. (Maybe you are taking her for granted.) Take her some place for a weekend and don't even expect sex. Just try connecting, holding hands, cuddling. Talk about your future and things you'd like to do with her.

Romance her again like you did when you first met her. Leave cards, love notes, ect in places you know she will find them like her purse, in the car, on her pillow. Surprise her with flowers.

talk with her. Is it that she has no desire to have sex or is she looking to be separated or divorced? If she has no desire then she needs to talk to her doctor about what she can take or do about it. If she's no longer in love with you then ask her to go do some marriage consoling with you.

Have you and your wife even talked about this? Is it possible she has reached an age that her hormones have changed and maybe this is something a doctor should check? I would rule out medical conditions and THEN consider counseling.

Cook her a nice meal. Reevaluate what sex is to you. If it is insertion, repeat as necessary, your big finish, then roll over, you need a refresher. Step up to the plate and put your mouth where the money is.

well as I learned after my 14 year marriage failed and for several years before that, a good imagination and your hand are often superior with no hassles like a woman will give you. Good luck.
