Bah. My wife farts, and thinks it's as hilarious as I do.
Of course, she has a best friend that to this day insists she doesn't fart. Ever. I can only imagine the horror that would be building up inside her if that were actually true.
Lots of parents teach their children that farting (and belching, and other stuff) is wrong and dirty and embarrasing, and those kids eventually grow up. Personally, I'm teaching my kids that farting is hilarious, but inappropriate conversation fodder at grandma's house.

My husband and i have talked about this. He farts all the time. I tell him I dont fart....I poot!! LOL! No really i dont have gas like he does and usually when I do I poot! It doesnt even make all that nasty noise that he does. Now, to be honest every once in a while I do get gas bad and can fart but I dont show it off the way he does. So now it has become a game and if I do get really gassy and can let out a good fart I let him hear it. Of course he says that is nasty! But he does it all the time...all day long. JEEZ MEN !!! WOMEN THINK THAT MEN WHO FART ARE NASTY!!!

This is just a joke but I love it. Why don't women fart? Becasue they do not shut up long enough to build up pressure. Sorry, but I thought it was funny.

I've never claimed that I dont fart. I'm like grease the musical at night. I can play any theme you want and give you a nice scent to go with it.

Everyone farts, I just think it is not polite to fart in public/around others. Who wants to smell that. Whereas men think it is a big macho thing to fart anywhere they are.

I think the real question is why is it ok for men to fart but men think it gross when women do it...a bit "unlady like" yes....I don't claim not to fart....i do it on a daily basis :) just not in public....

We don't like to talk about it as often as men do and we're not proud of our farts as men appear to be. We don't do it in public but if we have the urge we usually move away from people. We're a bit self conscious about it because its kinda embarrassing and unladylike. Simply we don't talk about it.

BULL!!! I fart...I'm not afraid to do it anywhere its a natural thing and everyone does it no matter how much they deny it! if you didn't fart you would be in a lot of pain!

Simple, it's embarrassing to women. Women are suppose to be dainty and prim/proper... try being labelled a dainty woman while farting up a storm. lol
Basically my point is... if a woman tells you she doesn't fart, she lies. ;)
