She always says i love you but i don't say it back. I don't love her i can't stand her. When i have a friend over she is all nice and i hate that. And after she yells at me she comes in my room and hugs me and says do you understand or somethink like that. It drives me crazy. What should i do?

At one of my former workplaces, I recall being in the employee lounge one day and overhearing a conversation between a woman who was somewhere in her early twenties and a woman who was in her early fifties. The twenty-something made a comment along the lines of "I'm not sure if I will ever want to have children." The fifty-something woman responded with, "Honey, I don't blame you. If I were young and just starting out right now, I probably wouldn't have kids, either. Don't get me wrong, my kids are everything to me. But if I were your age, I would probably make the decision to not have kids."

I was just wondering, does anyone else feel that way?

I have been with my partner for 7 years and we have a 2 yr old daughter. We are in the middle of buying our own house and recently got engaged. When we went up to the in laws house (my partner having told his mother on the phone our good news) they didnt say a word. His father never congratulated us. His mother didnt ask me a thing and didnt even see my ring. I was in tears when we left. Do you think this means they dont want us to marry. I have to admit they are a bit odd. I was never quite sure what they thought of me. We were young when we first started dating. He was 17 and myself 19. We dont expect help financially with our wedding. We have always found them quite mean anyway (they are millionaires who never seem to buy anything not even for themselves) I cant help feel hard done by as I thought I would be gaining a family. I just think if they werent so rich maybe we could have a decent relationship for myself and our daughter. I dont care about their money. We do fine on our own

My friend seems not to be bothered by anything.. I mean I feel that she doesnt care for me at all. She likes the way I care for her, she likes me being there for her always, when she is bored or sad or when she have nothing better to do.
She expects from me to be there available for her and I have been always there for her.
But I feel very used, I feel like she just wants me only when she has no other option and this makes me feel v bad.
Recently when she called me though I was free but I pretended to be busy and she acted normal n said " we will talk later" it happened 2 days ago and she has not contacted me back till now.
Did I do right being not available for her there. Should I continue that way.
Otherwise she will talk to me till she gets something better to do. Like if her siblings or parents r back home she says without realising that it hurts that" ok my parents or siblings r back I will talk to u later" How bad is that it means she used me 4 that time when she was free.

I am married to the youngest.....their favorite is the middle child. All of my husband's life, it was obvious the middle was prefered. Their parents would say yes to what the middle child wanted and almost ignored the youngest. I guess I don't understand how parents can have these preferences being that I have two boys and love them equally.

Well, I'm not saying he's a bad person but this favorite son been to prison, doesn't take care of his kids emotionally or financially, and he's on drugs. My husband, on the other hand, takes care of us, helps out in the community, and is a great father to our children.

Well, everytime one of our sons says something funny or does good in school, etc they say "Oh he's just like his uncle." How can my husband stop from being bothered about their remarks??? We hate feeling so annoyed!!! Please help!!!

I was never married to my childs father. I have not been with him in 2 years. I am now trying to go work in Japan and take my 3 year old daughter (who lives with me). Her father says I cant do that because he doesnt want her to leave. Can he stop me? If We are not married dont I have full custody of the child unless proven otherwise? He just recently(in January) started paying a child support ( a measly $189.00) because he doesnt have a job. Does that give him any right? His name is also on the birth certificate. I also tried to explain to him that I would get like 10 weeks of vacation and I would bring her back to visit, but he is trying to give me a hard time. This is the opportunity of my life , I have a BFA Degree and I cannot find a decent job here. He has nothing (no degree, no house, no job) and he is 11 years older than me and trying to stop me from doing whats best for me and my child. Some one help!! What can I do??

Recently, my mom and my sister has tried to persuade me into carry my sister and her husband's baby. My sister has serious problems with her womb, she has a cloged tube, and uterine fibroid. She said she would pay us 10,000 dollar for compensation of my suffering of pregnancy and labor.~ Not that we needed the money.
My sister and I have been close when we were growing up, but I can't imagine to hand over my own child to anyone and I really don't want to hurt her feeling, what should I do? (Biological child) We only had one child, and was plannning to have another one, now that she mention that she wanted our second one, it makes it hard for me to carry another, without the guilt

Over a year ago my parents got me a cell, and I soon upgraded to a new mp3 player phone, but it was crap and got replaced. Well I was mad at my old one so I didn't really appreciate the new one considering it cost me $200. Well we lost phone receptio here and the phone company decided to give us our money back... well my parents went to Cingular and now my dad won't let me have a phone becuase he says I don't use it enough. I mostly text, and use the web on them...

So should I be mad over this...

I tried using it more. I did I swear...

My daughter was recently in a car accident and has had to drop out of school. Now, she is getting better and is looking for a job. I make about 1/3 of what her father and his wife make. I give my daughter what I can but when she asked her father, he states that he can't afford it.

making the trip (five hours) and helping out while here. But I was upset most of the weekend, as she annoyed me. And I don't know how to keep from showing my annoyance.

For example, she visited my estranged hubby and told me for about HALF AN HOUR how much nicer his place is than mine. I'm NOT jealous. But after a while the comparison was irritating. THEN she said, "His place makes yours look like a dump." Uh, THANK YOU. I eventually just went into my computer room.

Then she yells. She's a screamer and gets angry a lot.

How do I control MYSELF?

My mom has been visiting (I've been sick) and expected to leave today. But yesterday my aunt, uncle and dad thought they were leaving yesterday. When mom found out they thought they were leaving, she started yelling at my dad and said, "This is the last time you do this to me!" Then she started crying and moaning and shaking. It was bizarre. She's always been emotional and, frankly, childish. But this took the cake. It scared me and made me think she's lost it. But my aunt says she just cryies to get her way. Who does that at almost 70 years old?! I thought I was the weird [re: stoic] one. Is this a sign she needs help?

Part of me understands maybe she was overwhelmed...She's been worried about my health, she made the five-hour trip which scared her, I'm getting divorced which depressed her and we've always had a tense relationship. But is her reaction normal?
