Going to Greece in a couple of weeks & taking 2 small children, is there anything i can get/use instead of the sprays & lotions sold? & if not what do you reccommend to keep us all bite free?

i have heard many different suggestions. dryer sheets in your pockets, the skin so soft original from avon, (this one works for me) i usually combine them both. I have small children and don't want to use products with deet in them so my next thing to try will be those anti mosquito bracelettes

There are mozzies in greece like you wouldn't believe. My daughter ended up on antibiotics when we got home because she had a bad reaction to the bites.

Anyway, what i'm going to try this year is giving her an antihistamine tablet every day for 2 weeks before leaving. I've heard this can help.

Otherwise use the sprays and lotions, don't leave apartment/room doors open and turn off lights at night. You can also buy a plug in mozzie zapper/repellent thing and make sure you have a handy flip flop for swatting them.

The sprays and lotions are the best! They really work. Other than that wear long sleeves, long pants, and don't walk around carrying anything sugary because they'll get attracted to you and bite your head off. :)

Try lavender water as a repellent, it really works. It also soothes bites without stinging.

I've also heard that skin so soft works brilliantly.
Mossie milk is good too, its in a roll on bottle like a deodorant.
