my sister is 21 im 18, but she always acts like she is my little
sister. eg. on her birthday she landed up at my place and asked me to

her shopping and buy her gifts
is that normal? are many sisters like that?
her general behaviour is like a little sister's.
she also likes to hang out with me very often

does sound a little odd but you will seriously hurt her feelings if you let her know that, it sounds like she dosent have many friends if she sees you on her birthday. Just gently distance urself from her so that she does not continue relating to you in this rather strange way, be her friend but do not allow her to embarrass herself or rely on you in ways that may not be healthy for her. She probably thinks you are really good fun and that is a compliment, so you owe her to be gentle with her feelings. Me and my brother have not hung out for about 6 yrs now and we are only just really starting to talk again, because we had a mssive argument. I really missed him and how unique his sense of humour was-I dont think anyone has made me laugh as much as him since- and now Im so glad its finally working out. U might have an over enthusiastic sister but its far better than being robbed of ur relationship with your sibling outright.

I think it's cool that she likes to do stuff with you my sister never does anything with me. But if your sister is just using you for your money, confront her. Or if you feel uncomfortable with her taking you to go shopping then tell her. She should understand.

you are now an adult male and maybe she feels you are able to protect her.
i wouldn't say it was starnge, just love her back and feel appreciated. she'll get over it.
