Do you have a favorite child or grandchild?

Everyone says they don't have favorites, I don't think that's true.

What makes them your favorite?

I am 24 btw, just wondering for when i have kids if there is a favorite thing

I do not have a favorite, I love them all equally. But I have to admit that I have 4 children and my middle son gives me more attention then the others and it makes me feel like we are a little closer however, I do not want to be that way with my children. The last thing I need is for siblings to be jeolous of one another and saying mom loves you best. I speak from experience with my family, It is never good to have a favorite... If you do have a favorite keep it too yourself..

It's funny because I have an older brother (he was the favorite)
but I have 3 kids and at times I go in and out of loving them to death - as an individual. So on any given day one ups the other. But I refuse to let my love for one prove true. I love them equally for who they are. Some days are easier to love one more then the other but it's what I love most about all 3.

i love both my grand-kids equally, but, my grandson i seen him born, there's nothing like seeing the miracle of birth, especially your grand-kids, i was in love at first sight, then after when he came home, my daughter went through some depression and was lost on how to deal with baby, so i stepped in, i took care of-him for about the first year of his life, which made us very close, i did everything with him, he became my child, hes so smart and sweet, then my daughter got pregnant-with my granddaughter, i was scare, i wondered if i had enough love in me for 2,oh yes i do, there's more than enough love to go around, but in my dreams, i always worried. they are the most beautiful kids i ever saw, each with there own personality, and now my son's married and this spring they want to start there family, they both want 5, I'm not even worried this time, i know I'll love them all, cause that's what mom's and grandma's do.so no favorites here, sorry

I really don't feel like I have a favorite child of our 3 kids! Of course I disliked the bad things I saw in one that were the bad characteristics I had myself! I have five grandchildren now and I like the oldest the most because I've spent more time with her. Relationships take time to build. As soon as I get to spend as much time with the younger ones, I'll like them just as much. I love all 5 of course, but some are easier to like because of their dif. personalities!

Yes, there is a favorite,( I have 6 children, 4 stepdaughters, two sons) but I split my time and money equally.
What makes some favorite they talk and share more of their life with me.

I love them both....but at this point I am closer to the one that think I am the world....the little 4 yr old. I wish the 8 yr old still treated me that way.

i think it depends on if u only have one kid/grandkid. then u can say that they're ur faves. if u have 2 or more then u shall love em equally. u'd really have 2 b a really stupid person 2 say u have a fave kid.
