Family - February 2007

I go back to work next month and have managed to work my hours out so that me, my partner and my parents share in the childcare. My parents adore my daughter and she is the mopst spoilt baby in the world but i am just a little concerned that if we have any disagreements about anything they do with my baby it will ruin our relationship, we are very close? what do others think, should i be happy with the arrangements or be looking for a nursery?

my dad...he cheated on my mom and screwed her over. and told me [13 years old] and my lil sis [5 years old] that he hated us. He talked to his gf on speaker phone in front of us. stole income tax money from my mom. he did so many other things...its SICKENING. I am supposed to see him every other weekend..but I dont want to. and now he's gonna get a lawyer. Chances are..if I tell the judge all these things i wont have to go. My question is though: Would you do this to your children who looked up to you. and waited everynight for you to come home while you were at your GFs house I hate my dad..do you blame me?

Today my older cousins had a couple of friends ove. now I don't have a problem with that, it's jut that they are all older then me! Then,they told me that I have toget out of the room! Then when the friends left, they thought I was mad at them! Of course I am!!!! Of course I didn't tell them that I was mad! Now I don't know what to do, what should I do?

I cheated on my husband in our 2nd year of marriage. We're going into our eighth. I chose to tell him the truth. I believed he deserved the right to choose whether he wanted to stay or go. Yet he still throws it in my face. He says that I have to help him to get over it. I've been faithful from then on. I've given him NO doubt. I've been a loving wife and mother. while the rest of the collection she carries around with her, does it mean anything?

My 7-year-old neice collects stamps, and I found an ordinary stamp hidden amongst her things. And, I know for a fact that she purposely hid it. She shows off the rest of her collection of stamps. I don't understand why she does this. She's a lovable child, and gets plenty of attention, I think. Is she on the brink of OCD?

ok me and my fiance are very young but we are starting a family together-i have a son and am pregnant with another baby. of course things have been hard. My fiance is having a hard time with jobs. we broke up for like a week and my whole family ended up getting into it. now everyone in my family is giving him a hard time...they make it out like everything is his fault.....everything! and its getting really hard because i am 8 months pregnant and stuck in the middle of this nit picking and its stressful! what should i do?

Tonight is my friends 18th bday and we were all suppose 2 go 2 the club and out 2 eat after...a good 20 of us!..my dad tells me no...after my report card jus came in the mail with str8 "A's"...and i havent missed my 2am curfew ever!(that is a GOOD curfew)..everytime he picks these random days to say "no" to me he says its cuz "im tha father and i can say no" ok i understand but up until last year i've been afraid 2 ask my dad things because of his aggressive answers and him always telling me no.


Last year me and my bestfriend were suppose 2 go out with my bf and his friend (double date) i called my dad he said okay jus dont leave till i get home (this was at 6) he didnt come home til 9:30 and by then my bf got mad and left. I told my dad it was messed up (he was wal mart that whole time 10mins down the road) and he came back sayin "im the father i do what i want"...my friend and i were all dressed stuck layin in my room that night.
i mean what do you think..is it fair?

My father refuses to get married to her through the church so she is planning hurt my father. One of her “good” friends tells my father every thing and supposedly my stepmother is planning on saying my father rap ed her, is always treating her badly, that she does not feel safe taking a shower with me in the house. Even worse for me she may be planning to have me jumped by people!’
I am all ready under a lot of stress.

My actions so far have been considering proclaiming I am gay (I am BI sort of) and puting gay p orn in to my hard drive and I have placed a spell on her, her sister in law, and one of her friends. I have also told my psychiatrist every thing I know. Also other than my closest friend no one knows about my psychiatrist.

What else can I do?

So I'm engaged, we're not getting married for another year and a half. He lives with his parents so we spend time there pretty often. His mother thinks that I hate her and that I'm closed off, but I'm just quiet. I don't know what to say to her, I feel like everything I say is wrong. I've become quite silent because she's always criticizing me and bossing me around. His little brother got a girlfriend that he knocked up the first month together, and she likes that girlfriend. I don't understand why she likes her, she's mean. Mom-in-law even said that she thinks they are sole mates but not sure about me and my fiance. My Fiance is on my side, but he feels like they don't really know me, and if they did they would like me. But how do I get close to a woman who won't listen? I feel like my actions should speak louder than my words, I'm respectful, responsible, helpful, I treat her son well and make him really happy. What should I do?

I've been dating my boyfriend for almost three years now. He shares an apartment with his brother and every time I go over I see his brother, have conversations with him and he's flirted with me. Spending so much time with him is causing me to develop feelings for him. I feel horrible. I don't know what to do. Should I keep shut about it and wait until my feelings dissappear or be honest with the both of them? I love my boyfriend very much but his brother and I have so much in common. I really don't know what to do. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am a new Father with 2 small baby girls and I am so scared to death of sexual predators out there wanting to harm little girls.
I want to be well prepared for the potential negative influences that my girls will encounter as they grow older.

Is private school a good choice for education? I don't know because I am new at this and I want the resources for my kids upbringing. I don't want my wife to work. I want her to give the girls the attention that they need.

Does anyone have any good pointers?
Am I being over protective?

I am like this because what I read in the news about children.

my mother wont wear perfume.
my father just has this natural stink that over powers all of his colonges and after shaves.

i literally sneak up and talk loud to cover the spray sound of my perfumes to put on them.
what the heck do i do!?

Is it not wrong if a parent specifically a mother talks on the phone right next to your room about how much she hates her husband and that her children, I being one of them, have no love for her. I then confronted her because I have had this agruement many times, and asked her if she was looking for a fight. She then replies by mimicing my voice in a insulting way on the phone repeating what I said. Feeling disgusted with this I decided I'd rather not eat all of my dinner. She then talks to my "little brother" and says to him what a S.O.B. I am. Am I right to be angry with her? Is this right that my own mother even though I have assurded her that I love her says I do not love her

I live with my grandpa. My uncle lives here as well and i had an aunt who did live here but moved out because i got mad becuz she was telling me what to do. the reason i got mad with her tellin me what do is becuz she does drugs, doesn't have a job, is lazy and won't do anything for her self and hasn't since she was 19! (my grandpa told me all this).she won’t help with the house work either. one night i brought up how i was sick of her telling me what to do and sick of her hatin on me and she went insane (literally) she went on for 7 hours about how i was a worthless ***** and how i stole her room stuff and her family from her. she told my dad that she will never talk to me again, never do anything for me, and if someone says that i do something like her she will denie it. anyways my question is should i make amends with her becuz she is family or should i just let her do whatever it is she does?
