My parents always talk bad about each other in front of me. They have ever since I could remember, and I'm in my 22 so.. been going on for a long time. It makes me feel really bad when my mom's calling my dad nasty names (which are often true, but still..) and my dad also calling my mom names (which are often untrue, but anyway..). My mom knows how I feel about it and always "tries" not to say things in front of me, but obviously that has rarely been the fact. My dad always says "he's just kidding." Right. That might have worked when I was 8, and not even. Anyway, what do you think of parents trash-talking each other in front of their children? I think it SUCKS, frankly. It hurts me a lot, and always has. By the way, my parents are not divorced, but they're certainly not happy.

My great grandma just passed away, and its hard on my mom. But today, I was cleaning around the house, and my mom needed me to vaccume. So I kindly said,"Hold on I'm putting something away." And then I went over to her to see what else she needed and she hit me with a clothes hanger. She is not an abusive mom at all, but I have a feeling she is taking this out on me, and I'm being as nice as I can. Please help, I dont want 2 get hit anymore!

I've been having a lot of problems with my mother lately. I live in a single parent household. First of all, my mother, I understand does have the right to be concerned about my well-beind and moreover activities. Howeverr she has told me in the past that she "does trust me, just not other people." I'm 16 and I do believe that she's going to have to trust me eventually. I have not given her any reason not to do so, as I maintain good grades and good friends. I think she is basing her decisions on her mother's rules. Sometimes the way my mother acts if frustrating. Can anyone share some insight without shoving their views in my face? Thank you.

Ok here's the story. My car broke down a few days ago, and it's gonna be about a week before it gets fixed. Basically my dad tells me "that's too bad." BUT a while back, my brother's truck broke down and my dad gave up his car in a heartbeat and then used my grandfather's car to get around.

I'm 25 and my brother is 24, and I know we are both adults and should't bother our dad to use his car. I know it's completely not my dad's problem, but i feel what's fair is fair, right? If he gave up his car to my bother for a week, shouldn't he do the same for me?

How do I say this to my dad without making it seem like i think he owes me something?

My step daughter is a result of a one night stand so she has never known her parents tp b 2gether. She visits us every other weekend, and in the past 2 years her attitude and living arrangements have worsened. Her mother is married and has a 50 yr old boyfriend (she is 25) that lives with her and her husband and on top of it all my step daughter has lupus. She has learned to play the 2 sides very well. She tells me she hates it there and turns around and tells her mom she hates me. She complains about coming to our house cause I make her clean I make her clean her stuff not mine, every once in a while maybe ask her to do dishes. How do I get this kid to be real and stop telling me what she thinks I want to hear. I think she is a brat, and needs to be stopped. But we have no legal rights or the money to get them. I need help with the hole situation. Or I am going to have to give up.

My grandfather was a gardener for the royal estates all of his working life.
When he died last year, my grandmother payed £400 for a hybrid rose to be created and named after him. It is a cross between about three or four other roses. Its is called the 'Johnathon Hodge rememberance'. If you could name a rose after someone special for a special reason, who and why?

I have two little brothers but one just gets under my skin ALL the time. He never leaves me alone and now I am just worried. I ask him to please stop but he ignores me and just keeps on with it. He throws chewed food at me and acts horrible. But he only does it when my parents aren't looking. I try to go to my parents but they say I am over reacting. He acts like a little angel around them. What should I do? Should I go up and talk to my evil little bro?

I have 2 children with a wonderful guy, I couldn't ask for a better father for them, he's amazing with the kids, our youngest just turned 1 and the oldest is 4. Ever since we've had our youngest, I obviously gained weight, and our relationship hasn't been the same. We don't have sex as much (not even close to what we used to). I have tried losing weight, and honestly i'm only like 15 pounds more then I was before I got pregnant. I don't know what to do! I am always so frustrated with him because I don't feel like he gives me enough love at all, and when I tell him how I feel, he's says i'm being ridiculous for thinking it, but nothing changes. Should i just leave him? Should I just stay? I don't know what to do anymore, but i'm depressed all the time.

My father was put in jail for child abuse. I called child services on him when i was 16.

When my youngest brother was born, my mom had a heart attack and had to stay in the hospital for months. In that time (my father was still living with us cause i was 15) i raised "Josh" by myself. I named him, got up with him every 2 hours, hes my godsonHe's like a son to me.

Accidents happen every day. My mom is 50 now, and i'm afraid that if anything happens to her, either one of my aunts or uncles will take Josh or worse, they'd let my spermdonor (father) take him.

Does anyone how/what to do? Can i make some kind of legal agreement with my mom saying if anything happens to him i get custody? How would i bring such a sensitive subject up to my mom (its not like i want her to ever die, but this is life). I may only be 19, but i assure you, i'm 19 going on 30. i have lived on my own since ive got a good head on my shoulders.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Is it true that most women, who were molested as a child, and healed from it, grow up to be strong people? Because you know the saying, What doesn't kill you will only make you stronger.....

My fiance and I currently live with in my grandma's house. We hate living there, but it was the only place to go at the time. We pay her 300 dollars every month. We pay for all out own stuff; food, drink laundry soap, bathroom stuff, eveything. The only think she does is sometimes pay for my lunch at work, which she offers. The problem is she complains about eveything we do and even comes into our room when we are not there. What makes it worse is that I work at the same Company as my grandma and she gives me rides to work, to lunch and home or school (depending on where I have to go). Well, my fiance has talked to his dad and stepmom and they agreed that my fiance and I could move in with them in two weeks. My fiance's step-mom will be driving me to work and home because she works down the street. How do I tell this to my grandma? (I've already told my mom the situation, and she thinks it's a good idea to go.)

heres the deal. i started playing football sophmore year. i sort of changed myself a little bit, started hanging out with different people. they are not bad people.my grade went down a little bit. and by a little bit i mean it, like from A to an A-. (yes i was a dork) but my parents started to ***** about all these little things that i do, and they all blame it on football. they say my grades went down because i have all these agility and weights drills after and before school for football. but in fact its because i started taking these advanced courses. they are harder hence the name "advance" but they dont seem to understand it. they still expect an A out of everything. they also ***** about how i dress(prep, like hollister, A&F). i mean, seriously, why do parents have to be so anoying all the time. can't they just leave us along?
